Default Project OCTOPATH TRAVELER - Coming to Nintendo Switch July 13th

Final Fantasy Network » News » Project OCTOPATH TRAVELER announced at Nintendo Switch presentation

So don't mind where this is. Just figured since Bravely Default and Bravely Second are here, we can dump this here until we find out more about the project.

Sigh I was hoping for Bravely Third but a game made in 2D old FF sprite artwork and then brought into 3D is fine too I guess?

Does this has to with Bravely Default? ´cause just look at the artstyle is very similiar to that game.

It is by the same staff. It doesn't look to be a part of the Bravely series.

It is just a tentative name. Then again "Bravely Sexond" was also tentative then it ended up being the name...

I know this was probably a typo but I couldn't help but laugh because given the ending of Bravely Second, that typo is very much an appropriate name for the game.

Bravely Series Producer Tomoya Asano In Charge Of Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler For Switch - Siliconera

Well this is interesting, turns out that the developers from the Bravely franchise worked at Enix and not for Square before the merger. I always assumed that Enix outsourced their work for developers.
