Okay, here it is.
Iriqoius Pliskin. Snake is playable in the prologue, which takes place 2 years earlier, as he tries to alert people of Metal Gear RAY, which is held by the U.S. Marines but is taken by Ocelot and the Russians.

Snake isn't much of a main character in MGS2. Raiden is the main character in that one, and he'll have his own game, MGS: Rising, a First Person Swordfighting game starring Raiden.

That's just at the top of my head. They could be much longer. I think MGS2: Sons of Liberty has the shortest.

Most of hem are at least 5 minutes long. Parts with major story elements are usually 15 minutes long. They are well worth the time though.
