This Support v.s. That Support (READ BEFORE MAKING NEW THREAD)

I'm seeing a lot of new threads here that aren't dealing with the kind of threads this place is supposed to be for.

Hence the This Support v.s. That Support.

Alright. Let's start at the bottom and work up.

Let's say you have a question you need an answer to. How about "I need new tips for dates!". It's asking for new date ideas. Now, when making a thread, you have to think about where it belongs, meaning reading descriptions of areas and knowing what's what and so on. Here, we're explaining what you do with this question that needs a helpful and supportful answer.

-- The Technology area is for Technological help. "Why is my cpu doing this? How do I do CSS?" This area is for technical programs with your technology. Unless your girlfriend is a robot, you're not going to post in this section with this question. That'd be a little odd.
--There's also the "Site Feedback/Support" area. This place is where you ask questions or give feedback on the SITE and the FORUMS. Not other forums, not other sites, just KHInsider and its forums. Here is where you ask questions about "How do I get a signature to show? Why can I not see this or that?" I don't think a question about your girlfriend and your dates belong there either.
--Finally, there's the Community section. This is more of a thing with the community, such as wishing happy birthdays and welcoming new members and saying farewell to others. I also consider it an area to help a new person. Not as many people go here with questions, but I believe it to be an area where one can help a newbie.

Well, our question doesn't seem to fit in either of those places. Where does it go?

It goes here. In the "Help/Support" area. As in, questions about making friends In Real Life, how do you get good grades, how do you get a girlfriend/boyfriend, how do you keep this gf/bf? Suicidal thoughts and other topics go here. Hence the support. We're not going to make fun of you. That is strictly forbidden, the members here are VERY nice.

However, after seeing a thread asking something about a signature gets to be tedious to read and for us mods, tedious to move. Technological threads do not belong here. Questions about the site itself don't belong here. This place is, what I like to call it, "Social Help." Not like we're all lonely people, but we all need help sometimes. Trust me, so do I. I just have another outlet and I have a very good and trustworthy friend who doesn't mind helping. But for those of us who need more advice than one persons, this is where you go.

Understand? This is the Social Support area. We'll repeat that for those of us too lazy to read long posts. =P

This is the Social Help/Support Area. Everything else, gotta read the description of the places. If you think yours can fit in more than one, choose the most appropriate. Ask if you have to. Mods are here to help, we're not mean people, honest.
