So,since the last updates came up,it would be good to review some things,for the people that haven't noticed what happened the entire month.
This thread will be updated everytime there is something new.People can post interviews e.t.c,that are on the main page of khi,cause some people ignore them,or can't find them.

First we have the scenes with the BBS and 358/2 days.

some of you,might have noticed that Terra might have the elment of fire,cause in his most attacks he uses fire.(i never said that he is Axel's somebody,i just notice a few stuffs)

For Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days,as we already know,there is a 14th member,that we only know it's gender,female.

However,with the new scans,we learned a few more things,well it might be and even more confusing.

About Coded,i won't say anything.

Here's a quick summary of the information:

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days

The blog provides us with some of the controls for the game:

- Arrow Keys - Moving around

- A - Select Command/Attack

- B - Jump; and, along with the arrow keys, special moves including Air Slide, and a two-stage Jump.

- X - Command

- Start - Skip movie

- L - Rotate camera left

- R - Rotate camera right

From what we can guess from the translation, it also seems that there may be a timed challenge. The player has twelve minutes to carry out a mission - the blog states there is a "timer display (12 minutes)" - in Twilight Town. Axel and Roxas appear to be involved, and it seems that XIV makes an appearance, too. It also seems the reward for the mission can be seen when the player pushes Start.

There also appears to be a challenge involving Xigbar firing at things, but the information is vague.

A number of worlds have been seen. They are...

- Agrabah

- Wonderland

- Twilight Town

Details are etchy, unfortunately. We'll let you know more when we find out anything new about it!

Kingdom Hearts: Coded

From what we can understand, there appears to be a scene in which Sora, Donald, and Goofy fall through a dark corridor - along with Pluto. There also seems to be a scene with Riku looking at the moon.

Again, new info is thin on the ground.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

Looks like Snow White features here! From what we can tell, the Keyblade is seen here. Also, there is an enemy, one the blog writer describes to be like a Large Body.

There is also mention of reaction commands, and combo finishes in battle. Sounds like fun!

Also, there seems to be a scene between Yen Sid and King Mickey, but we can't make much sense of the translation...

The Sleeping Beauty world is mentioned. Maleficent has a conversation with Terra.

If the translation is correct, there was no mention of Aqua.

KH: Coded

Jiminy:
He is seen in every KH-game so far. Made his first appearance in Pinocchio. He has also been in some Disney´s cartoons featuring many other characters as well. In this game, he finds a message from his note: "We must return to heal the wounds, free them from their torment.", but Jiminy can´t remember writing this down, so he goes to King Mickey.

Digital Sora:
He looks like Sora from KH1/CoM -games, but in fact, he is a digital person made from Sora´s data, extracted from Jiminy´s note. He is playable in Coded.

King Mickey:
King Mickey Mouse is the first of Disney´s characters. In the beginning of KH:Coded, he is also curious about Jiminy´s note´s forgotten message. Mickey converts himself into data and helps the Digital Sora in his journey.

The Heartless:
Everything from Jiminy´s note is converted into a data-world. So also the heartless are there too, because Jiminy had wrote them down in his notebook.

The Bug:
It´s bizarre, hidden in mysteries. Only little is known about this strange virus inhabiting the Data World made from Jiminy´s notes.

Riku, Donald, Goofy and Kairi:
They are made from the data extracted from Jiminy´s notes. Appearances are from KH1. But the bug has twisted the story making it to flow differently from Jiminy´s notes. i.e. Riku is seen in London of Peter Pan´s world.


Birth by Sleep

Terra:
Young man looking like Xemnas, but with shorter and brown hair. He has a weapon similar to keyblade, but it has no keychain. He has hatred towards Xehanort, we can´t know who that is. He is playable in BbS.

Ven:
Terra´s "friend". Many theories are been made about "friend" with quotes(""). i.e. Terra being a nobody, so that´s why he can´t say Friend, but he says "Friend"(no emotions, no actual friends). Ven is left-handed and is looking and sounding like Roxas from KH2. He is seen in Twilight Town in trailers. He is playable in BbS.

Mysterious Girl(Aqua):
A character perfectly shrouded in mystery. Almost nothing is known about her and Tetsuya Nomura hasnt said much about her. She has some kind of connection to Darkness, Mickey, Kairi or all of them.
In the Secret ending(BbS), she only used her keyblade to do magical attacks.

Master Xehanort:
He is a keyblade-master and in the beginning of BbS, he has disappeared to (darkness?) with his apprentice. He is very powerful, which we can see from Secret Ending of KH2:FM+.
He is maybe similar to DiZ(my theory), he got into Twilight Realm with his apprentice and to get out of there, he and his apprentice accepted the darkness, but maybe his apprentice gave his entire being..

Demon of Darkness:
Person who gave himself too much into darkness and has also a keyblade. His face is behind a helmet. He is obviously MX´s apprentice or former apprentice.

Mysterious Enemy:
Little is known about them, but that they are very wild and extremely fast!
They though look more like heartless than nobodies(shadow- and body-heartless)

Maleficent:
Her part in BbS´s story is yet unknown, but we can tell, that she isn´t
doing any good things.. She is seen in Sleeping Beauty -world.

3 5 8 /2 Days

Roxas:
Another side of Sora. He wields two keyblades, Oath Keeper and Oblivion. He can dodge-roll, glide in the air and he is Organization´s 13th member.

Axel:
He has power of fire. He introduces Roxas to Organization and
becomes his friend. He is the 8th member.

14th member:
from CoM and KH2, we have seen members 1-13, but this is something whole new! It is female character and she will assist Axel and Roxas in the game. She helped Axel and Roxas by destroying a horde of heartless, but no weapon was seen..

Xigbar:
He is the 2nd member of Organization XIII. Man named Braig became Xigbar in Xehanort´s experiment. Xigbar has hinted twice, that he has seen other Keyblade-wielders before Sora.

Xemnas:
The leader of Organization. He resembles Terra and all emotions that he remembers is Anger and Hate.(a nobody remembers feelings of his former self). Another side of Xehanort.

The Heartless:
Roxas´ and Axel´s mission is to defeat heartless and with Roxas´ keyblade they release hearts to Xemnas´ Kingdom Hearts. Heartless are similar to previous games, but there is also some new ones..

We pretty much went straight to the Square-Enix booth, but the Dissidia Final Fantasy line was already restricted because it was full. Their other games said it was 90 to 120 minutes wait too. However, we found a line to pick up a ticket for the closed mega theater and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in the afternoon. Wondering why they didn’t do that for all the games in the first place, we wandered around the booth until the line opened again.

The long awaited Dissidia Final Fantasy game was awesome! The game play was pretty deep for it’s genre. I’ll dedicate the whole next post on Akiba Channel to it.

We also played the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days demo with our ticket. It’s a DS action RPG where you play as one of the Organization XIII members. The significance is that it’s a multiplayer game, and I played with 3 other random people. However, the character was randomly chosen by the order we came in and I ended up with a little boring character called Xigbar. He’s a long-range character who fights with a gun. The game was not bad as it plays like a Kingdom Hearts game but cooperating with other players.
Of course there was the usual closed mega theater featuring their latest trailers. Their line up this time was the 3 new Kingdom Hearts game, the Parasite Eve sequal- The 3rd birthday,

In the Coded Department:
Not a whole lot of new information was gathered on Coded. We do know that there is a new mode dubbed “High Speed Mode”. Although not much information was revealed about this, maybe it’s safe to assume it deals with high speed.

From the glimpses of the trailers, we know that there will be even more scenes never shown in Kingdom Hearts (Riku staring at the moon); as well as more dealing with our old heroes, Pluto included.

Another fact, we finally know what phone Coded will be coming out on. The game is set for the FOMA model for Mobile Phones. More information can be accessed here.

Image In the 358/2 Days Department:
Perhaps the most important piece of information given out is that 358/2 Days is set for a Summer 2008 release date for Japan.

Some of the more interesting scenes are from the trailer. Roxas will be able to travel throughout worlds, such as Agrabah. Mickey will be investigating Twilight Town further. And Axel and Roxas are helped out by the mysterious 14th member who, of course, isn’t revealed yet.

Now here comes the multiplayer aspects of the game. From the demo, you have an option of picking between Roxas, Axel, Xigbar and Saix. The selection screen has the members sitting on their respective seats while you pick them. Each member plays notable different than the other.

The demo at Jump Fiesta featured Twilight Town. The battles consisted of four small wizards, one Large Body, four shadows, and Dark Side. Naturally, Dark Side is the boss and you need to beat him to complete the level.

Image In the Birth By Sleep Department:
Most of the information gathered of Birth By Sleep was from the trailer. Ven is indeed playable, along with Terra. Ven was shown exploring the worlds of Agrabah and Cinderella. He also faces off with the dark soldier from the Secret Ending and knocks his faceplate off, but naturally the face isn’t shown. Ven isn’t the only familiar face to be seen. Donald, Goofy, Yensid and Mickey (in his new black outfit) were shown. As well as Maleficent in the newly revealed Sleeping Beauty world.

Finishing combos and reaction commands make a welcome return to the game play mechanics. And a new enemy appears that resembles a large body. The trailer ends with Ven asking his ‘friend’ to erase him.

In the Closed Megatheater

Trailer Summary

The Organization members walk in front of Roxas.

Xigbar: "Whoops."

Saix stands before Roxas.
In front, you can see a corridor of darkness.

Saix: "Be careful."

Stepping into the corridor, Roxas seemingly warps to Twilight Town.

The mission "Defeat Clock Tower's Darkside!" starts.
A mission is given to defeat 4 bodies of Heartless on the way.

On defeating the Darkside...
Axel: "Roxas, go on."
Roxas: "Axel..."

Suddenly Heartless attack Roxas from behind.
The 14th member of the Organization attacks the Heartless and wipes them out. The 14th member smiles.
Axel and Roxas both look perplexed.
The 14th member begins to take off their hood -> END (the face is not shown)

There was also a multiplayer mode! I played Axel in the Twilight Town area. We cooperated in fighting the Heartless and completing the mission of defeating the Darkside. At the end, players were ranked in order of given damage.

Incidentally, I got second place. Roxas was last.
Being able to use an infinite amount of Potions was a beginner option which made it easy.
Overall... I'm not so confident yet about the camera work.



Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (rough translation)

"Distant Past... Sleep gives birth to a hidden fate"

A scene is shown with a conversation between Terra and Ven.

Terra: "Sometime before, didn't you save me?"
Ven: "After what we've been through, we're friends, so..."
Terra grins at Ven and places a hand on Ven's shoulder.
Terra: "Thanks, Ven."

Afterward, in the desert (from KH2FM+'s Secret Movie), the old man (UEM) confronts Terra.
Xehanort: Did you really think you could grasp that last glimmer? The wall between the light and the darkness have exceeded one another, creating the original me, and here you are waiting for me. (While Xehanort is talking, he opens one of his hands in greeting, enraging Terra.)
Terra: I have a friend.
Terra summons the keyblade with his right hand.

Ven meets Xehanort at the Olympus Coliseum.
Ven: "Who...? I've met you before..."
Ven is surprised.
Xehanort: It seems you have lost something. However, unless what you have lost is put back into your hands, it will be gone forever. Once you obtain it, hold on to it and understand the truth!
The old man's hands begin to glow, while Ven looks at him with fear and confusion.

~Battle Scene~
Ven becomes playable
Battle technique: "Aerial Slam"

Mickey defends himself with the Keyblade.
The keyblade disappears...
Donald and Goofy, along with Mickey's wizard master (Yen Sid,) watch him.
Mickey looks at Yen Sid and summons his Keyblade.

Sleeping Beauty - Maleficent (with her pet raven) looks at the castle covered with brambles/thorns.
Terra is behind Maleficent.
Their eyes meet and Maleficent cackles.

The scene switches back to the desert (Place of Gathering).

Ven is facing off against the Dark Soldier, and knocks off his helmet. However, his face is not shown. The scene soon switches to Terra holding an unconscious Ven, with Master Xehanort looking desperate and apologetic.

Xehanort: "One who has immersed himself in the darkness cannot wield the Keyblade. He is a demon who has been taken by the darkness. Please correct my mistake..."

Destiny Island
Terra is looking out from the coast towards two boys who are playing/sparring on the beach (young Sora and Riku). At the same time, Ven is in Twilight Town watching the horizon. He is looking down, and appears to be sad. "I don't want to be depended on...you are my 'friend'. Just erase me."

- The scene of Riku in Neverland is to show what Riku was thinking before he kidnapped Kairi.
- The scene showing Traverse Town where Sora meets Donald and Goofy will be focusing on what Pluto did during that time.
- Sora can glide in Coded.
- The heartless have invaded the data, however they are not bugs.
- High-Speed Mode makes Sora run really fast, as Crash Mode turns the game into a sidescroller action!
- Debugs have a certain timelimit, if you fail to eliminate the bug then you can attempt again with other debugging methods.
- Upgrade Points (VP) can be used to help Sora become stronger, and these are done by bug eliminatin and heartless destroyed. Each heartless is worth 10 points.
- KH Coded's Online play can be used to join in and help other players in the game. However the system changes when in the other player's world, can you escape it? By the way the player's other then the one that joined will be shown as a shadow Sora to prevent confusions.


358/2 Days
- The 14th member is not revealed yet.
- Roxas' gameplay in single player mode has been changed slightly to give a more Kingdom Hearts feel.
- Roxas' must collect hearts everyday, in Organization XIII Saix tells Roxas to be more careful next time.
- The game will be moving throughout from Kingdom Hearts 1 - Kingdom Hearts 2.
- Items obtained in Single Player Mode, can be used in Multiplayer Mode. Also the screen below is mostly used to display the map and target, however it is not complete.
- The new gauge LP Mode has not been fully revealed, but is hinted to be used for powerful techniques.
- In single player mode the arrow is under the right corner of the screen, when in multi player it's under the left. They didn't say if this mysterious arrow (Not the arrow showing where your character is) can be used by the touchpad or not.
- There is a type of missions called "Hologram Missions" that can be used in single and multiplayer mode. These missions are not part of the main storyline at all. This is also how the Organization members trained.
- When doing missions you'll be graded with either a "G" or a "N" The "G" means you did good, and your chair will begin to rotate and rise. If you get an "N" the chair will begin to descend, as you either swayed away from your mission or did a bad job.
- The ability of Dodge roll gives more of a KH1 feel then it does KH2FM+
- Some returning enemies from KH1 will be back, however they have been revamped and there are a few other surprises in the game.
- This game is considered to be a mix of the normal Kingdom Hearts feel, as well as a dark feel to it.
- The Organization character's personalities will be fully revealed in this game, this way you can follow the cutscenes better, and the conversations between them can become more interesting.
- This game features an interesting twist in the battle system where you can chain your attacks together! You can attack, use dodgerolling, glide and more into just a single combination!
- The actions and defenses of each Organization member is new, and they all have their own special ability! Xigbar was able to use stronger attacks for a short while.

Birth by Sleep
- The scene of Cinderalla and Ven, is that Cinderalla is rushing towards the castle while Ven is staring at it, what could have caused this scenario?
- There is a possibility of event limitations within the game.
- Donald and Goofy watch as Yensid trains with Mickey in order for Mickey to become a stronger Keyblade warrior. What is his purpose to gain this power?
- Terra and Malificent are working together, Terra's smile is hinting to a connection but Nomura won't say what.
- Nomura hints that not all three Keybladers are connected to the three heroes of Kingdom Hearts II, however this game will explain the original conflict of the Kingdom Hearts series.
- The new enemies names are not announced still...

Terra has an attack of every element, not just Fire. He has an Aero "Ariel Break", a Blizzard "Blizzra Strike", etc. so I seriously doubt he's related to Axel

Especially since Terra does not become Axel when switch around, and the KH Ultimania (or somewhere, I forget, I gotta ask Xaldin about it) says that Nomura considers Axel as Reno's Nobody in a spiritual sense, and Axel's real name is the name of Reno's favorite drink: Ale.

Yup that's true,i know,the point is,why Ven is seperate from Terra?
I mean,we have a pic with Terra alone fightng,and a pic of Ven alone with Cinderella :/
