Part One:

David sat at his computer, stunned at some of the stupid things his friends were saying about carrying his children and how in love with him they were. He’d completely lost track of how many “wives” he had on the forums. Strangely, though, he wasn’t happy with all of the girls fawning all over him. He honestly cared more about his guy friends, which really kinda creeped him out.

Just the other day he had cybered with one of his “wives,” but he hadn’t gotten as into it as usual. That had been bothering him for some reason, especially when the other “wives” all wanted a piece of him. At the moment he was talking to his friends Sam and Jezza about it. Both of them were saying that maybe he was gay. David, of course, took it as a joke. He couldn’t be gay. He gave them each a bit “lol” and told them it was time for dinner so he had to leave.

He got up from his computer and walked into the kitchen. His family was gone for the weekend. Camping. So he had the house to himself, and he was actually feeling kind of lonely.

Just as he was finishing cooking his dinner, David heard the doorbell ring.

“WTF?” he asked himself. He went to the door and opened it.

Before him stood two guys fairly close to his own age, both of them grinning at him.

“Hey, David,” said the one on his left.

“Ummm…hi?” David said dumbly. “Who are you?”

“I’m Sam,” said the one on the right. “You know, from KHI?”

“And I’m Jezza, “ said the other. “We’re here for dinner.”

“But…but….”David stammered. “How are you here?”

“Uh, we drove, “Jezza replied, laughing.

“But I was just talking to you on KHI!” David was astounded. There was no way they could be here. Maybe he was going crazy or something.

Sam grinned at him and pulled a small laptop out of the big book bag on his back. “Can we come in?”

David blinked at him. “Umm…sure…”

Sam and Jezza sauntered past hi m into the house.

“Nice place,” they said simultaneously.

“Something smells good,” Jezza said.

“I just made dinner,” David replied.

“Any left?” Sam asked, walking toward the kitchen. “I’m hungry.”

“Sam,” Jezza said. “We’re her for David, remember?”

“Fine,” Sam replied, a slight pout on his face. For some reason, David found it strangely attractive. He surprised himself by being honest with himself. He wanted to find a way to make the other guy feel better.

“You said you were here for dinner,” David said. “Let’s eat.”
Sam’s face broke into a smile and Jezza rolled his eyes.

And that was when Sam actually grabbed David around the waist, pulled him close, and kissed both his cheeks. David’s eyes got wide saucers and his face flushed scarlet, while both Sam and Jezza laughed at him.

“My turn,” Jezza said, pushing Sam away.
