Kingdom Hearts Infinities: Broken Chain of Memories


Bowchickawowwow productions present the first chapter of Broken Chain of Memories (Kingdom Hearts Infinities Vol. 2). For those who have read the first one you have a good idea on how stories with the Infinities title can be totally different then the original storyline. A heads up for those you don’t know what it Infinites after something means it basically means that the story you are about to read is alternate history. In the first Kingdom Hearts Infinites Sora had stayed a heartless and Kairi had to take up the Keyblade. She then when on to become friends with Lighting (See FF13 video on youtube.), Axel, Namine, and Roxas. I don’t want to ruin the ending for those interested so I’ll stop there. This installment will be the “What if” story of what would have happened if Sora chose not to save Namine and never got his memories back. Xemnas looked around the organization audience chamber. He turned his gaze to each of the twelve members and spoke.

“I have called you here today to tell you that the current Keyblade wielder has been turned into a heartless,” Xemnas looked around the room and saw the shocked faces of his subordinates. “That means he has a nobody somewhere. It has also come to my attention that at the time the new master had two hearts inside him when her released his heart; It belonged to one of the Princesses of Heart,” The other members looked at each other with confused looks. “Her hearts contact with the boy’s gave it the power to use the Keyblade which means her nobody can use one as well. If we were to enlist these nobodies in our organization then our power would be unrivaled.” Xemnas looked over at Saix and smiled. “I trust you can handle the girl?”

Saix smiled an evil grin. “Of course lord Xemnas. I get her to join us by any means necessary.”

Xemnas smiled and laughed to himself. “Good… lets move then. I’ll find the boy and you get the girl.” With that Xemnas stepped into a dark portal and away from the others.



The girl looked around but saw only grass and bushes.

“Hello… hello is anyone there?” She questioned as she brushed the branches of a bush out of the way to get a better look. She was interrupted by the cries of three people.

“Run there still after us! Oh Juan why did we think that this was a good idea! You knew there was something wrong with that house!” Yelled a high pitched voice.

“We how the hell was I supposed to know it was full of heartless! Just shut up and keep running Charley!” Juan screamed back at Charley.

“Piff I could of told her that Juan!” said another voice.

“Oh shut up Anton!” said Juan. Juan turned his attention towards the girl standing in the bushes. “Who are you and what are you doing out here?”

The girl looked up a worried look on her face.

“Hello are you listening to me?” Juan said as he waved his hand in front of the girls face trying to get her attention. Juan heard a rustle in the bushes “Oh crap they caught up to us!”

Dozen of heartless jumped out of the bushes and surrounded the four children. Their mouths watered as they heard the thump of the children’s hearts. They cocked their heads in confusion; they only heard three of the children’s hearts. The fourth one didn’t have a pulse to hear.

“Oh God were gonna die aren’t we Juan!” Charley screamed as the heartless walked closer.

The girl looked around at the heartless and felt a strange feeling rising in her chest and stomach. The girl looked down at her hand as a large key materialized in her hand. She heard a voice in her head it said “Keyblade”. She jumped out at the heartless and slashed at them. “What… what’s going on what’s with this key?” she thought to herself as she cut through another heartless. She sensed a heartless jump up at her from behind as if she had eyes in the back of her head. She ducked down and struck at the heartless that had over shot her. She spotted a heartless trying to run away and through her Keyblade at it. The Keyblade past through the little heartless’s head as the blade sunk into the tree behind the now dead heartless.

The girl looked down at her hands “What am I?” she thought to herself.

Juan and the others looked up at the girl that had just slashed her way through the group of heartless that had been chasing them.

“Wow!” they said in unison their eyes wide with amazement.

The girl looked around at the kids behind her. She felt light headed and toppled over; the key disappeared from her hand as she fell back.

Juan slid on the ground and caught the girl before she hit the ground. He looked up at Charley and Anton.

“What… what are we gonna do with her?”



The girl opened her eyes and jumped to her feet. She looked around and saw that she was in someone’s room lying in their bed.

“Good you’re awake.”

The girl turned her head and saw the two boys and girl she had saved in the forest.

“We thought you were dead or something.”

The girl calmed down and sat back down on the bed.

“Hi,” Said the boy in front of her. “I’m Juan and these are my friends Charley and Anton. What’s your name?”

The girl looked down at the floor.

“I… I don’t know.” She said. “Before the forest I can’t remember anything.”

“What you don’t have a name?” said Juan as he scratched his head “But everyone has a name.”

“Take it easy Juan.” Charley said as she sat down near the girl on the bed. “She obviously has amnesia or some other kinda memory loss.” Charley said as she laid her hand on the girl’s shoulder. “Do you remember anything before the forest anything at all?”

The girl shook her head. “No nothing.”

“Well we gotta call you something if your gonna be our friend.” Exclaimed Anton as he stood up. “How about Susan… no Namine.”

“Namine?” said Juan. “The actress?”

“Yeah why not it’s a pretty name.” Charley said as she stood up and walked towards Anton’s side.

“I like Namine.” Said the girl.

Juan smiled “Okay then until we find some one who knows you we’ll call you Namine.”

Namine smiled a lopsided grin. “I… I have a name.” She thought to herself.



Xemnas saw a young man standing in front of Twilight Town’s old mansion. “My God he looks just like Ven.” Xemnas thought to himself.

“Hello is anyone there?” Said the boy.

Xemnas stepped out of the bushes and stood in front of the boy. He put his hand up and waved it. As he waved his hand the letters S-O-R-A appeared. Xemnas waved his hand again and the letters started to spin. He stopped the letters and put a large X in the new name. The letters now read R-O-X-A-S.

“Roxas…” Said the boy as he looked up at the name in front of him.

Xemnas looked down and smiled “The new you.” Xemnas put his hand out “Come with me boy and I will give you a purpose.” Xemnas said as Roxas took his hand and started to walk with him. Xemnas opened up a portal and stepped through it. “Finally all my plans will be complete.” He thought to himself as he and Roxas stepped through the portal. “Soon I will have Kingdom Hearts.”

Sorry about the length guys. I hope you like the first chapter of Broken Chain of Memories. The next chapter will be out on Sunday. This has been a Bowchickawowwow production.

Okay guys here you go Chapter 2. Hope you like it.



Xemnas lead Roxas through the castle. He could see the boy’s eyes dart from side to side trying to take in the glory of the organization.

“Roxas,” Roxas looked up at Xemnas “From now on you will address me as Lord Xemnas or master is that understood? You are nothing but an extension of my power. You will never talk back to me and you will do anything I ask of you.”

Roxas nodded his head “Yes lord Xemnas I am only a weapon, an extension of your power. I will do anything you ask.”

Xemnas’s eyes narrowed “Good… for if you were to deceive me I would have to kill you.” Xemnas’s sword shot out of his hand and next to Roxas’s cheek.

“No master I would never deceive you.” Roxas said his eyes expressionless as he kneeled before Xemnas. “What is it that you ask?”

Xemnas grabbed Roxas by the neck and pinned him against the wall. “Your unwavering obedience.”




Saix look over the small town the dusks behind him jumped around anxiously. Saix new this is where he would find the fourteenth member of the organization. He turned his attention over to the dusks.

“Go siege the city leave nothing alive. Bring me the girl with no heart.” Saix said his voice devoid of emotion.



“Come on Namine you haven’t lived until you’ve had sea salt ice cream!” Charley shouted over her shoulder as she ran alongside Juan and Anton.

“Coming!” Namine yelled back as she tied her shoe and ran out the door. It had been three days since the day in the New Twilight Town forest and she was heading to the main plaza for sea salt ice cream. Namine heard a noise from above as she ran out the door and looked up. Namine was met with the disfigured form of retrieval dusk. “Who or what are you!?” Namine screamed as she backed away from the hungry nobody.

“Ahh!”

Namine turned her head towards the sound of the scream. A lady was being chased by two pairs of dusks. She ran past the dusk and into the street. Namine saw hundreds of dusks everywhere laying waste to the city.

“Juan, Anton, Charley where are you!?” Namine shouted. She saw the forms of her friends backed up against a burning building. Namine tried to block out their cries of terror as she ran towards them. “Leave them alone!” She yelled but to no avail as the dusks crept closer. “I said Leave them alone!” Namine yelled again as a Keyblade materialized in her hand once again. “Wha… again?” Namine said to herself. Namine looked up and saw a dusk pounce at her. She screamed as her instincts took over and slashed through the nobody. Namine lost herself in a fit of rage as she sliced and cut her way through the crowds of nobodies. It was no use the second Namine killed one monster two more took its place. Soon Namine and her friends were surrounded; the dusks closing in on their new meal.

“Good job… I knew that Keyblade users were tough but I had no idea that they were this strong.” Saix said clapping as he walked through a portal that had appeared in front of the four friends.

Namine looked up.

“Who are you!?” Namine questioned as she stood next to her friends in an attempt to protect them.

Saix smiled an evil grin.

“I am Saix the second in command of Organization XII. I have come for you little girl.” Saix said as he snapped his fingers parting the dusks like a general would with new solders. He stretched out his hand “Please would you come with me?”

Namine pulled back she could tell this man was trouble.

“What if I say no?”

Saix smiled another evil grin.

“Your friends die!” Saix shouted as he snapped his fingers again the dusks grabbing Juan, Anton and Charley from behind as they tore through the wall that they had been pushed into.

Namine turned around as she heard the yelps of her new friends.

“Please let them go!” Namine begged as she fell to her knees and grabbed Saix’s cloak. “I’ll… I’ll come with you.”

“Don’t do it don’t go with him will be fine!” Juan shouted trying to reassure Namine.

“No I could never forgive myself if something happened to you guys!” Namine said tears running down her face as she pulled herself off the ground. She turned her head back to Saix. “If I go with you you’ll… you’ll let them live right?”

Saix put his hand under Namine’s chin and lifted her head so her eyes met his.

“Of course child I’ll let them live just as long as you come with me.” Saix said in a coaxing voice.

“Okay I’ll go with you then.” Namine said already regretting her choice.

Saix smiled.

“Good.” He murmured as he opened a portal to the organization’s castle.

Namine looked back at Juan.

“What about my friends what about them you said you’d let them go.” Namine questioned pulling on Saix’s sleeve as they stepped through the portal.

“Oh yes I did say that didn’t I.” Saix said as he snapped his fingers again making the dusks release their hold on the young teens.

Namine exhaled her friends were safe.

“Kill them.” Saix said his voice emotionless.

“What!?” screamed Namine as Saix pushed her through the portal. The last noise she heard before she was surrounded by darkness was the cries of her dieing friends.



“What is this place master?” stammered Roxas as he steeped into a large round room with doors all around him.

“This my apprentice is the room of power. This is where you will be broken.” Xemnas responded his voice commanding voice emotionless.

“What!?” Roxas shouted as Xemnas pushed him through the first door. Roxas looked around at his new surroundings and saw that he just in another room. Roxas looked up at a speaker as Xemnas’s voice crackled to life over the sound system as a dusk appeared in front of him.

“You are nothing. You feel nothing. You need nothing. You will do anything if it means the organization gains power or gets closer to Kingdom Hearts. Through this you are complete. This is the saying of the organization Roxas. Learn it well.” Xemnas’s voice said over the speaker system. “Today is initiation training day if you will. These trials will determine if you deserve a purpose.”

All of a sudden the room changed into a desert landscape with hovering boulders. It then changed into a forest landscape.

“Sorry about that. We have been having difficulties with the simulator lately. It seems that Vexen can not fix the new problems. Every time we turn the simulator it sets the difficulty at max. You as of now can not defeat him with your power. Pay no mind to it… now attack!” Shouted Xemnas his voice streaming out of the speaker as the landscape changed.

Roxas rushed towards the now battalion of dusks that now stood in front of him; his Keyblade Oblivion appearing in his hands as he sawed through the first dusk. He had a name, a purpose, and now a master.


“No bring them back!” Namine shouted as she pounded on Saix’s chest in a mix of anger and sadness.

Saix laughed to himself “Ha stupid girl they’re dead. You’ll never see them again and it’s all your fault.”

“No I’ll freaking kill you for taking away my friends!” Namine screamed as she rushed at Saix; her Keyblade materializing in her hand as she jumped up to slash at Saix from above. Namine bounced off of Saix’s guard and struck at his legs.

Saix brought his sword down and blocked Namine’s blow and landed a quick punch to the young girl’s chest. Saix smiled as he felt her warm blood hit his hand as Namine coughed up a clump of blood and saliva. Saix capitalized on the now weakened condition of Namine and kicked at her legs. As Namine fell to the hard ground of Betwixt and Between Saix gave the girl a quick knee to the face. He smiled as he wiped the girl’s blood of his cloak and took pride in the pain filled moans. Saix pulled Namine back up by the neck and made her stare into his eyes. He pulled his hand back and proceeded to punch Namine in the stomach. Saix then pulled his hand back and struck the girl in the face. Warm blood spread across Saix’s fingers; he put his hand up to his face and licked the girl’s blood off his knuckles as if he were a vampire taking pride in Namine’s pain. Namine went limp in his hands as she slipped into unconsciousness.

“Oh no little girl you wont escape the pain that easily.” Saix said boastfully as pushed a food pill into Namine mouth and put his hand under her chin making her swallow the pill. “This should keep you awake for seven hours. Just enough time to think about striking at a superior member of the organization. He made another portal and walked through it dragging the dazed but still conscious Namine by the hand into the dark portal laughing at her blood gurgled moans of pain.



“This trial will test your pain tolerance level.” Xemnas’s voice said his powerful voice blasting over the sound system.

Roxas looked around at the now dark landscape. Roxas didn’t worry muck the first six trials hadn’t been to bad just strength and a agility tests. Roxas looked down as gray hands came out of the ground and took hold of his feet. Roxas bent down and slashed at the hands but was pulled up as more hands grabbed his wrists making him helpless. A third pair of hands grabbed the crown of his head and lifted his eyelids fully opening making it impossible to close his eyes or even blink. Roxas grounded his teeth together as a gray monster walked towards him. Roxas’s eyes widened as the monster jammed its hand down into its throat and pulled out a long katana. The beast seemed to smile as it stabbed Roxas through the chest. Pain shot through Roxas’s body as his eyes darted around the room in a desperate attempt to find a means of escape.

“Embrace the power pain gives you Roxas. The dusk won’t kill you it will only stab you in parts of your body were life essential organs aren’t. That dose not mean that it won’t hurt though. Oh and if you were to be knocked out by the pain then I’m afraid that the dusk will be forced to kill you so don’t go unconscious on us.” Xemnas said through the loud speaker.

Roxas screamed in pain as the hands pulled on his arms dislocating them and then pushing them back to their normal position. Tears ran down Roxas’s cheeks as the dusk stabbed him again. Roxas knew he needed to survive the pain trial if he wanted to have a purpose so he bit his lip and tried to resist the barrage of pain.



Sora sat by the crackling fire unsure of how he would ever get back to Kairi. It had been over a week since he had saved her and Riku for Ansem. He had gone through countless battles, worlds, and had to fight his best friend but he had done it. He just didn’t know how to get back to them.

“Don’t worry you’ll see your girlfriend again. You made ‘er a promise didn’t ya?” Jiminy said as he jumped onto Sora’s shoulder.

Sora smiled to himself his grin invisible in the dark. “Wow its nothing like that were… were jus friends jiminy. Your right though I made her a promise so I will see her again.”

“Whatever kiddo I see how you look at her.” Jiminy said “Sora looks at Kairi just like Ven looked at her.” He thought to himself as he leaped down into Sora’s palm.

Sora frowned and got up and started to walk down the path a bit.

“Hey jiminy who’s that guy in the black cloak?”



Saix slipped Namine onto the scanners slab. He activated the machine while he hummed a tune to himself as if death and destruction of people’s lives was a game to him. Saix smiled as the huge columns turned and twisted over Namine scanning her body for anomalies. The columns flew all across Namine’s body the red lights of the scanners crawling over her skin in a checkered pattern. Saix looked at the results that were printing out of the computer.

“Hmm… this could provide useful to the organization. Lord Xemnas needs to see this.” Saix mumbled to himself as he hit the switch shutting off the anomaly reader. Slowly the columns backed away off of Namine and rested back in their births as if waiting for the next victim Saix would drag in to the holding room.



Xemnas looked down at the monitor. He saw Roxas receive his mark. A knife went behind Roxas’s neck and proceeded to carve the letters X-I-I-I in the back of his neck. Xemnas smiled as the boy cried out in pain. He turned his head as Saix walked into the observation room.

“Ah your back I take it you have the girl.” Xemnas questioned as he looked back to the wall of screens.

Saix smiled as he lifted Namine up off the ground by her left wrist suspending her a foot of the hard metal floor. Saix looked at the monitors Xemnas had up. He felt his own mark on his neck as the branding knife pulled away from its latest victim.

“You need to see this lord Xemnas.” said Saix his voice emotionless.

Xemnas took the folder that Saix was holding out to him and opened it.

“She can control memories eh? This could prove useful to or plans. Keep her alive.” Xemnas said turning his attention back to Roxas.

“What should I do with her lord Xemnas?” Saix questioned as he took the folder back from Xemnas.

“Take her to Castle Oblivion. They can never know about each other for if they do it could mean the end of the organization. Besides Sora will be at Castle Oblivion in a matter of days so this fits perfectly into our plan. She will bend Sora to us and gain us a fifteenth member.” Xemnas walked over to Namine and pulled her chin up making her look into his eyes. “You hear that little girl? You get to be saved by the Keyblade master. Oh how I wish I could be you.” Xemnas said sarcastically as he slapped Namine across the face lightly playfully as he looked back at Roxas on the screens. “Oh and put Axel in charge of her. He has proven himself a devoted organization member and is the perfect candidate to break this little one.”

“Yes lord Xemnas.” Saix said as he lifted Namine up in his arms and walked through a newly made portal.



Axel sat in his chambers flicking a coin in the air and catching it as it came back down. If he had been whole today would have been his seventeenth birthday. But he was just a nobody he didn’t exist so technically he didn’t even have a birth. It also helped that Axel didn’t much care for such things as birthdays or regular days for that matter. He turned his head as a portal formed in the middle of his room. Saix stepped out carrying something in his hands.

“Hello Axel.”

“Saix always a pleasure.” Axel responded as he stood up and saluted Saix showing his respect.

“Let’s skip the formalities Axel I need you to… take care of something for me.” Saix said as he made a motion with his hands letting Axel know to be at ease.

“What is it sir?” Axel said in a confused tone as he sat back down on his bed.

“This.” Saix said half laughing as he pushed Namine into him. “Don’t take to good care of her we don’t need weaklings in this organization. Your new assignment is to take it to Castle Oblivion.” Saix said as he set the folder down Axel’s desk. “Xemnas wants to use her in a… experiment with the Keyblade master’s memories.” With that Saix walked out of Axel’s room.

Axel looked down at the little girl in front of him in shock as he checked her pulse. He waited and exhaled as he felt Namine’s pulse. “God she can’t be more then fourteen years old.” He thought to himself as he pulled her closer to his chest. Namine moaned again as he lifted her.

“Its okay you’re safe… for now. My name is Axel by the way.” He said as he brushed Namine’s bloody hair out of her face. “What’s yours?”

“Na… mi…ne” mumbled Namine as she snuggled closer to Axel as she started to cry just now taking in what happened to her.

“That’s a pretty name.” Axel said in a comforting voice. Axel pulled her closer and stroked her long blond hair as he squeezed her lovingly as he saw the tears run down her cheeks. “It’s okay. It’ll fine I’m tak’n care of you from now on.” He said to her as he closed his eyes and kissed her on the side of her head in an attempt to come her down. He rocked her in his arms as he hummed a light lullaby in Namine’s ear. Axel heard her breath become rhythmic and lessened his grip on her.

As Namine fell asleep in Axel’s strong arms she thought about her now dead friends and what the future might hold for her.

Axel pulled Namine into his arms and set her down on his bed. He pulled the sheets over her and brushed her hair out of her face. Axel laughed to himself as a small smile crept across Namine’s face as she drifted into a deep sleep. Axel kissed Namine on the forehead as he whispered a goodnight in her ear. He went over to the coach in his room and laid down. He couldn’t even imagine what Saix had put that little girl through before he had brought her before him. Axel packed a few things in a traveling bag and set it near the door.

“This was one happy birthday.” He said to himself as he lay back down on the couch and fell asleep.

Thanks Dealer_Camel. I made the Organization members vary evil because I want you guys to get the feeling that they are extremely evil people that they are. Disney held back because of the younger players of the game but since you guys can take a gruesome story of death and distruction I wont hold back. I promise at the end of this story you will even hate Demyx.
