Tired of closing

listen, I'm really tired of MOD's closing threads with spam in them, when even the thread start isn't even a spam itself, This makes me very mad. I believe that the spammers are to be suspended, not the ones who are trying to stop it!
Example: "Can We Count To 1 Million" parts 1,2,3
were closed for "Spamming"
that's insane! The spammers are to be suspended from the forums, not us!

we will find a way, I PMed Max/souleater about it, can't wait until a mod reads this, maybe the point will go across, and perhaps let us make the thread's we want.

I guess it's just the mods doing their jobs. There has to be a good reason for them to close a thread; it's usually good judgement, we can't complain about it. ~<3

Closing a thread is for the Moderators to decide if it necessary or not. They don't close threads carelessly, they close them for a good reason. Spam is spam, and it is not to be tolerated; that thread was becoming spam infested, which arose the necessity to close it.

i thought it was closed because the mods thought we wouldnt get to 1 million and it was taking to long..not for spamming.

either way they shouldnt have closed it. i mean its a way to make new buddies on the forums. i met most of my friends on there and got into conversations a lot on it.

I do agree, It is for the Mod's to decide, but then they suspend the spammers, not close the thread!

ShadowKnight, it is highly possible that those suspended spammers would only return with different accounts. Obviously, it was getting too out of hand to just ban people and let it keep going.

Then that just destroys the whole purpose of even having mods.

The original thread was closed because some of you weren't counting. It's not counting to one million if not everyone is counting. And it's obvious that the thread wasn't dedicated solely to counting. I see discussions all over the place, which caused some people to forget counting. Conversationation is a chatting thread; go chat there. Obviously this wasn't enough of a message, so someone creates a second thread. Both Ulti and I saw no improvement, which was pretty much the last straw. Every time we went into that thread, we didn't find ourselves coming out of there without deleting a few posts.

98% of me says that this argument still won't get through.

tl;dr: Our decisions are final. We even gave you a second chance, but it was blown.
