Dawn of a New Awakening

It has been over twenty years since that dark day that has fallen upon us. Arceus the god of all Pokemon has been angry on how humanity has treating Pokemon so rudely and disrespectful. He has taken every wild Pokemon with him and made the others who have been kept with the humans, extinct. Humans have been griefing over the lost of the faithful companions they once had and tried to bring them back. But no matter what Arceus would not change his mind.

So a group of people have seeked for a way to bring pokemon back, but they lacked a body or vessel for the pokemon to live in. So, these people have kidnapped kids and have been injecting them with Pokemon DNA making them Pokemon Hybrids. These kids have been given the appearances of Pokemon but they still looked human, and they have been given the same attacks, techniques and skills of the Pokemon they have been turn into. Some of us have been furious that these people have turned into a lab experiment and now they can't live their lives normally with the people they loved. But others have learned to accept it and want to help these people with their goal at any cost.

The story begins in a lab in the Orre Region. It was early in the day and some of the kids are beginning to wake to find that they were not in bed at home, but in a test tubes seeing that they are now freaks of nature.


Xeon Terrum was beginning to wake up from a massive blow to the head he was given. "Ow, my head. What just hit me?" he said. He openned his eyes and he saw that he was floating some green liquid and there were wires hooked up to him and he saw a couple of scientists staring at him. "Huh, what's going on?" he said. "Sir the Riolu hybrid has just woken up!" said a scientist who was examing Xeon. A man in black suit came up to Xeon and looked at him. "Ah, good. I was worried that he wouldn't have made it." the man said.

Xeon looked at them confused. Riolu? Wait that's a pokemon, isn't it? He said to himself. He felt something hitting him in the back and he saw what it was. It was a long furry blue tail that was moving in the liquid. Xeon had a stunned look on his face, he examined himself. He saw that his feet were black paws, his hands were blue and furry with sharp claws growing out of his fingers, small white pads on his wrist, blue and black fur all over his body, and his ears were furry and pointed like Riolu's ears were suppose to be. He was an actual Riolu, but he still a bit of human appearance. What is going on? I'm a Riolu but yet I'm still a human. Xeon said in his head. He looked around him and he saw other kids that were were test tubes as well. But each one looked like him but they weren't Riolu's like him, they were each a different kind of pokemon.

Souka finally came into conciousness. "Huh, what in the world?" Souka could only remember being at the farm, or at least getting to the farm. He was still groggy, but he managed to look up. It was then that he realized something strange. He looked down at his hands and body. "What? What is this! Why am I furry!" He thought cluelessly. He then panicked and looked around. He was in some sort of green test tube. "Ahh, the test subject is awake. Eevee 003." A scientist across the room observed. "Did he just say what I think he said!" Souka thought again looking down trying to see his body, then he gasped as he looked behind his back. "A....A....TAIL! And its brown!" He finally screamed out loud, the realization finally hitting him. "I'm an Eevee! The kimono girls all had eevees! But I'm not a full pokemon so what in the world am I? Some sort of hybrid monster!?" millions of questions floundered in his brain but none of them had any answers it seemed. He took another good look around the room and saw, as he thought, more test tubes. "They are all kids just like me! Why are we all here, and it doesn't seem like eevee is the only species of pokemon here I see many others too." Souka pondered these questions in his mind, but the most important question in the very back of his mind. "How do I get out of here?"

Renn looked around and noticed That he was no longer in his bed but inside a tube of water. He looked at his hand but saw saw that his hands and arms had become wings, he looked at his feet to see that his feet were talons: two toes in front and his heel had grown longer, thinner and a claw extended out of each toe, he looked to his reflection in the glass and saw that his nose and mouth had fused into a beak. Then he noticed a man in a black coat, the man looked to the side and saw him.

"Ah, the pidgey kid has woken up. Good."
"Why am I like this?!" Renn asked forcefully.
"You were chosen to become Pokemon hybrids, like the other kids in this lab."
He looked to the sides and saw a Riolu and Evee hybrids next to him.
Then he had a mental breakdown. "NO! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOO!"
His beak was enveloped in light,

He pecked at the glass but it didn't crack,
"It's impossible to break this glass with regular pokemon attacks."
"Well how about this?"
His wings were enveloped in light.
"Steel wing!"
It still didn't crack.
"Crap!"

[Jolteon]

Thomas slowly opened his eyes... He could see that this perdicamite was real and he had to accept it. He looked around and saw scientists walking back and fourth,charting down notes. He took a look at his appearance again... "I'm.....a freak....what did they do to me??" Just then,one of the men came over and saw Thomas awake. "Well well....Our friend here is awake as well. You're probably wondering what you are...well let's just say you're a human Eevee..." He then turned around and started to consult with the others. "A human...Eevee? The pokemon? Impossible....I can't be...." He looked at his hands,and ran them through his mane. "This is real. My life has been literally been warped and twisted." Thomas took a look around and saw others trapped inside tubes. He then fianlly spoke out loud. "Why have you done this? And how? How did you obtain such DNA when these pokemon are extinct!" The same scientist looked back at him. "Intellegent I see.... Heh Well we won't tell you where,but there was some left over that we have been able to control." Thomas was astonished,but kept his cool. "So these kids alongside me have also been experimented on?" The man nodded and laughed. "Just be a good boy and stay quiet,I'll have to report these findings to our superiors." He stated walking away.

Thomas looked at those who were still asleep. A few were awake,and even one of them was tring to break free from across the room. "What a foolish thing to do...." he whispered to himself. "Even if he did break free....they'd be able to corrale him with no problem..." He just remained there,thinking of how and when to break out.

Elena was shivering in fear of what she saw.....Her father then came up and saw her eyes open. She looked at him with an evil glare. "Who did this to me!!" Kyle,who was the father,looked at her and said. "A group of scientists did this to you....and I was one of them..." She was angry when he admitted to what he did. "Why in the world would you.....ugh my head..." "Just relax dear. We'll let you out of there soon,just wait." He assured her. "Where is mom? Did she suffer this fate too?" Elena asked. "No. Stop asking questions and rest. You mustn't over do it. Besides you just woke up." Elena closed her eyes and said one fianl thing. "When I come out of here....I want you to explain what you did to me and mother...." Kyle turned towards the door,"I will....I owe you that much." He left. The young girl then fell asleep. To prevent from going insane,she tried to reflect on the days of when she was happy.

[Lady Yuki]

Lyric was slowly wakeing up she didn't want to open her eyes just yet.As she was resting she could hear some voices.She heard some of them talk about pokemon hybrids.She didn't understand.What are they talking about?And why do I feel like I'm floating?"She thought to herself.She tried to strech but somthing wouldn't let her.What is going on?"She wondered.She opened her eyes and looked around."Where am I?"She asked but liquid got in her mouth.She kept her mouth shut.I'm in some type of water but why can I still see?"She thought.Her hands felt a little numb.She put her hands up to her face and saw that they where brown paws with pink pads.Her eyes went big.She looked at her body wich had white and brown furr al over her.And felt somthing smack her head and she looked dazed for a moment.She looked and she had a long puffy brown tail.Can it be?I'm I...A Eevee?She thought.

Lyric looked around and saw another Eevee and somone was talking to him.Well it looked like.She shifted her gaze else where.She didn't want to see anymore but she she looked somwhere else she saw a boy who looked like a pidgey."He looks scared as well"She thought to herself.She saw abother pokemon but she couldn't tell who ro what is was.Why is this happeing?She sighed."Ahh well good morning"Said a man in a long white coat."You are the first Eevee.Well from what I know.That boy over there is said to be the third.But I don't know where the second one is"He said to her softly.He looked at Lyric."You can talk you know.This stuff wont hurt you."He said to her.She nodded to him.As she did so she felt somthing on her head that moved with her.She put her paws up to her head and felt ears."I have....Ears?"She said aloud.The man nodded.She felt her hair around her face and she fixed it."My....Hair is....Even longer"She said scared.Her hair reached atleast past her knees."Why am I here?"She screamed."Because we can't live without pokemon you see.We need them to live on no matter what they look like" "Or even if they were once human!"She hissed back at him."Get me out!" "Sorry miss but I can't.Let me go get the man who did this so you can talk to him"And with that he was gone.

Lyric was afraid as she looked around."I don't want to be here!"She yelled.Some of the doctors looked at her.They rolled their eyes and looked away from her.A man came to her and smiled."It worked! I got the Eevee DNA and put it in you.Oh you are wonderful!This is so briliant! OH I am being so rude.Hello there my Lyric my name is John"He said to her.I am not your Lyric!! How dare you do this to me and everyone else here!How dare you ruin our lives just so you can be happy!"She yelled out."Calm down miss.You will be fine.Everyone will be let out soon so don't you worry." "I am not to worry! How can you say that!"She yelled."Who know's Lyric.Maybe you will like to be like this.Just think of it! You are faster and more smarter than you use to be"She thought for a moment."Will we be albe to...Evolve?"She asked."That I don't know.We havent fully looked into it." "LEAVE!"LYric yelled.She tured to break free but it was usless."You cant break free Lyric so don't even try"She said walking away.

Sylvia Ervings opened her mouth only to have liquid rushing down her throat. What is happening? Am I drowning? Her eyes shot open and she frantically scanned her surroundings. The area was filled with computer screens and machines blinking ominously. Her eyes landed on a man dressed in black as he approached her. "Ah, I see another one of our specimen are awake." Specimens?

Sylvia brought her arms in front of her and examined them. She noticed that her wrists had something blue protruding out of them. They appeared almost like fins. Along with the fins, her skin had a light blue tint to it. She moved her hands on to her head until she felt something a bit odd. Her ears were replaced by white fins. She then touched her neck and felt a pearl-like object embedded in the center of it. She looked down at her ankles which also had fins similar to her wrists.

What's happened to me? She wanted to scream, but it was replaced by a air bubble that drifted to the surface. "Don't worry, little girl. You should be happy that your fused with a Dratini.", the man chuckled. Sylvia's eyes widened in horror. How could she be a Dratini? She still retained some of human characteristic, so doesn't that still make her human? The scientist frowned at Sylvia's expression. "You should be happy. Didn't you wish for this?" Her expression turned blank. Did I?

[Shinra X-2]

Renn kept flailing with his new attacks and still the glass wouldn't break. Renn felt a change inside him, he felt as if the power of his new pokemon self "Evolving", but it was not enough to fully evolve into the next stage: Pidgeotto. "Experience." He thought. "I gotta get out of here." He thought.

[Black Rose Witch]

Souka was thinking as much as possible on how to get out of the tube, but as he observed the pidgey over in the other tube, attacks would not work, he would only be wasting his energy. "Okay, I see a Riolu, 2 eevees, dratini, and a pidgey in here. It looks like none of us are evolved so this group of scientists must not have figured that out yet." He thought then he had another realization. "If I could evolve, I could be an Espeon! but this is totally the wrong way of treating humans and pokemon, these people aren't going about this the right way. If i do get out of this mess, I swear these people will pay!" Souka angrily thought. "Eventually someone in here will figure out a way out of here I know it!" Souka thought getting a little hope.

As Renn kept attacking the light inside of him kept growing and growing until the pokemon inside him was getting stronger: but in order to evolve he would need even more experience. over time he obtained a new attack: Aerial ace, he replace gust with the new attack. He tried it on the glass but it still would not break. One of the sicentists ran over to the computer and noticed Renn's power level.
"Level 7, interesting, 3 levels in two hours."

Why is he talking about levels? He thought. "You're a feisty one aren't you." The scientist said to him. Renn gave him a glare that could pierce deep into the human soul. His eyebrows slanted, he was mad.

[Fenblivion]

Tony woke up slowly, realizing he was in a tank. "...last time...I....visit Mt. Coronet..." thought Tony, as he began to watch his surroundings. "The Vulpix hybrid has awakened..." said a voice, "it's about time." He finally realized that he was in a laboratory, surrounded by other...people? He couldn't tell exactly what they were, because they definitely weren't shaped like normal humans. "Maybe..." thought Tony, "no...it couldn't be..." He raised his arm, to see that his skin had a reddish tint. His hair felt a bit heavier, as he felt it, and found it to be shaped like Vulpix's tails. "So, it was me that they were talking about." said Tony, "Why did they choose...me?" "Because of your link to your ancestry," said a voice in Tony's head, "Vulpix and Ninetales are known for their links to tradition and history." Tony was shocked. "Who are you?" thought Tony. "Why, I am your great grandfather, speaking to you through your special abilities as a Vulpix." addressed the voice, "You must leave." Tony began struggling, and beating at the glass, but finding it to be no use. "How will I ever leave this place?" thought Tony, "I cant stay here forever."

zeik woke up in a tube."what the heck is going on? and where's cindy?!? they better not have hurt her or i'll..." he felt rage swelling up inside of him all of a suden fire was coming out of his mouth."Oh my god!"he muttered in disbelief. he then caught a glimpse of his reflection.he shreaked. a scientist looked over at him."the torchic has awakened" he announced. "no kidding" he thought looking at himself

[Chromatic]

Sieri awoke to find her self in tube, filled with a strange liquid. She was sure that it wasn't water. It couldn't be, it had too much of a gel like feel to it. Her body also felt strangely different. It felt more energized, and stronger. But the biggest difference that she felt was in her mind. She could feel a strange flow of energy in her mind, as though her brain would be able to channel power.

Braving to open her eyes, she saw that she wasn't the only person in the tank filled room. One person who was in a tube in front of her had grown paws, and had blue fur and a tail.

Who are you? What's happened to us? she thought, hoping he'd be able to somehow hear her words.


Xandor was sitting in an office down the hall from the tank room when a scientist came to him. "Hey Xandor, the other hybrids are awake, wanna come see?"

"Sure, why not. Ihaven't got much better to do." Xandor rose from the seat, and followed the scientist down the hallway, and remembering what he could about his own mutation into a hybrid. He had woken up in one of the tubes, and his skin felt metallic, and he himself felt the flow of psychic energy flowing through him. He had looked in a mirror upon his release, and saw that he only had one red eye, and his forehead, had extended out about two inches. He had become a Beldum hybrid, and was the first of many hybrids to come.

OCC: oblivion fenrir, change your last post because I didn't say it was okay yet for us to break out and we're all not evolving yet. Didn't you see that on the front page that we were all newly born pokemon part on it. So that means we're not ready to evolve yet. Maybe the ones who evovle with e-stones but not everyone else.

Xeon looked around and he could see a vulpix girl, a pidgey boy, a couple of Eevee's and a girl that looked like a fish of somesorts. He kept looking at himself in the reflection of the glass, he was looking at his bright red eyes in his reflections. "Man, why me? Why?!!" he shouted as he punched at the glass. It didn't do much damage. His hands glowed bright silver and he punched at the glass rapidly, "BULLET PUNCH!!!" he shouted out. Nothing, there wasn't even a scratch on the glass. He panted heavily and he headbutted the glass, tears trickled from his face and floated in the liquid in the tube he was in. "I can't believe this. This is just some bad dream that I'll wake up eventually." he said to himself.

He started to hear something in his head. Who are you? What's happened to us? He looked up and saw a girl who's head resembled a Meditite's. "Are you talking to me?" he said to her.

Souka noticed three other pokemon in tubes alos. "A beldum, a meditate.....no meditite, and a torchic!" He thought to himself. He was still a little rusty on the pokemon, but he remembered a long time ago when he was very little the kimono girls told him all about pokemon and had him memorize as many as he could, just in case. He saw riolu frantically trying to get out the tube, and everyone else for that matter, but it was no use. "The only moves I seem to know, or at least my mind is telling me, are tackle, helping hand, sand attack, and wish......wait a minute! What if all the eevees used helping hand on one pokemon?" He looked over at the nearest person pokemon. "Hey you! Riolu!" He tried to communicate to him with his thoughts and to everyone.

Tony began going through everything he knew about Vulpix in his head. "They are pure fire-type..." he thought, "but have the capabilities to learn ghost and dark type moves." He did know that Vulpix were known world-wide for their use of the "Will-O-Wisp" attack, so he tried it. "Will-O-Wisp!" screamed Tony, as a bright purple fire appeared from his hand, and he tried to melt the glass. Concentrating completely on the glass, he didn't even as much as scratch it. "Damn," thought Tony, as he examined the other "people " trying to escape from their capsules. "This will be impossible..."
