Harry Potter and spoilers.

THIS IS NOT A HARRY POTTER DISCUSSION THREAD

I am making this announcement so that nobody can say that they weren't warned beforehand.

As many of you know, the final book in the Harry Potter series is coming out on the 21st of July (may be later in other countries? I'm not sure). Eight days from now. Considering the amount of spoiling there was with the previous book's release (Not necessarily here, but all around the web), we're going to enact a zero tolerance policy regarding spoilers for about a month or two (Two should be sufficiant). ANYONE posting ANYTHING that can be regarded as a spoiler and not using the spoiler tag will recieve a week ban (repeat offenders get more, of course). This also includes any memes that may spawn from it.

This is your first and only warning. If you post any spoilers without a spoiler tag you will be banned immediately without any notice or warning. We want people to be able to enjoy the book AND KHI, not just one or the other.

EDIT: This rule is not in effect for the spoiler version of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows thread. That thread is open to those who have read the book and want to discuss it freely. That thread is here. Spoiler tags are not REQUIRED there, and no one will be banned for posting spoilers IN THAT ONE THREAD ONLY. The thread will be opened when the book is released. I suggest that anyone who hasn't read the book don't visit that thread until you have.
