So why do we need a new chat again?
123flashchat sucks. Rather, the license we had for it has recently expired. It's still functional, but it glitches like balls pretty frequently.

Why IRC?

• It's inexpensive.
• If and whenever the forum crashes, the IRC channel won't go down with it.
• It keeps out the people too stupid to figure out how to get into the chat.

Sounds great, but how do I start chatting?
There are many ways to get into #junes! For me, downloading an IRC client is the most convenient (please refer to List of Internet Relay Chat clients - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), but there are definitely other methods.

Okay.

1. Mibbit.com Webchat client <--- Go there. (Mibbit is an inbrowser irc client that lets us internet people be lazy and not have to download shit.)

2. Click on where it says "IRC: *Scroll box*" and then select "Rizon webirc"

3. Enter what you'd like others to see you as in the irc next to "Nick"

4. Enter "#junes" in the "Channel" box

5. Click "Go"

Uh, if you want you can register so you can customize your shit to how ever you'd like and save the channel straight to your profile so you can just click it and be there. But whatever works.

This is how you register your nickname using Mibbit.com or any other IRC Client.

After logging on and going into the Rizon server you put:

/ns register stupid imafaggot@hotmail.com

In the sever tab for mibbit. The KHI the server tab should say Rizon and you will have to enter the above there. For each different server you go on you must register your name for each one.

Replace "stupid" with your own password and replace the e-mail with your own. You'll then get an evaluation e-mail in which you follow the instructions to activate your account.

Whenever you join the server after registering you have to enter

/identify stupid

Replace "stupid" with your password and it will recognize you. Note that you have to do this each time you log onto the server or it will change your name after awhile to Guest and some random number. If the time runs out and it does change your name, don't panic but just enter the above into the server tab to get it changed back.

If you register your name and you use Mibbit, you can create an account on Mibbit and have it log you in automatically in any IRC server.
1) Create an account under Mibbit and log in
2) Click Account at the top near the logo.
3) At the bottom of the Account tab, there should be a little grid of sorts with text boxes and shit. Fill in your information you registered your name with. Leave the Auth Method as nickserv since you registered with it.
4) Click add and viola.
5) When you log into Mibbit, you can click connect now under account to connect to Rizon immediately with your nickname verified. Alternatively, you can have Mibbit log you into Junes at startup, (channels at the top > Server: irc.rizon.net Channel: #junes Auto Connect: Yes) so it's whatever you choose.
