I CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE SERVER LAG.
I CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT GENDER ICONS (can't code lol)
DO NOT MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHO I SHOULD FIRE, HIRE, AND/OR BAN.

Changes so far (as of October 5, 2008)

• Forum Insanity purged
• VIP forum removed because it sucks
• [s]Food section[/s]
• 25 character minimum for posts removed
• The Trash Bin is once again viewable to everyone. Still hidden, however. [click]
• Post reporting revised [click]
• Rep rankings and policies revised
• The Media section has been broken up once again to avoid any further cluttering.
• Word filters have been removed, but will be put back into place if it gets excessive.
• Character limit in signatures has been increased to 2000 characters.
• [s]You can now have three images in a signature.[/s]
• You can now send a single PM to multiple people (no limit).
• You can now have 35 characters in your custom title, and that's not going any higher.
• Platinums can now delete their own posts, but not their own threads. Privilege will be taken away if abused.
• Platinums can now hold up to 1500 PMs.
• Premiums can now hold up to 1000 PMs.
• Strikeout text tag revised: [s]text[/s]
• New spoiler tag: [spoiler=game, movie, show, etc.]spoiler[/spoiler]
• YouTube tag: [youtube]video ID[/youtube]
• Gametrailer tags
  • [gt]video ID[/gt]
  • For user uploaded videos: [gtuser]video ID[/gtuser]
    • How to know which Gametrailers tag to use [click]
• Vimeo tag: [vimeo]video ID[/vimeo]
• Performing Arts section [click]
• Users are now able to delete unwanted tags in their own threads.
• The time limit in which you could edit your own thread titles has been increased to three years.

Possible changes

• New emoticons; however, if we're getting new ones, we're trashing the ones we currently have for the simple reason that they're incredibly shitty.
• Veoh tag

Things I cannot change

• The number of posts you need to get before you can start using the Inferno

Not changing

• We unfortunately won't be changing the chat for a long time.
• Old posts are always gonna be available to all members, no matter how retarded they make you look.

Not happening

• Rep system being disabled
• Platinums getting mod powers in the KH sections. What a ridiculously shitty idea.
• Any of the incredibly shitty emoticons posted being added to the list of already incredibly shitty emoticons we already have

Not possible

• The way the rep system works cannot be changed; therefore, it has never changed.
• Much to my chagrin, the search engine cannot be improved.
• The 25 character rule cannot be applied to just one usergroup, as with the word filters. As ASG puts it, it's an everyone or no one kind of deal.
• Until we get a better server, bringing back the arcade is not possible.
• Allowing people to have more options in their polls

Platinums can delete their own posts as well, though not their own threads.

How about Auto merging Double post. help pervent all the double posting from server lags and idiots from being bashed for being oblivious to the edit button

I second the auto merge for double posts. I've seen a lot of sites have it. It would help mods a bit with having to delete double posts and help spam a bit.

I second/ third this.. and to help out, until it is instated.. sigged.. I'd love to see this, so it could prevent the annoying lag-induced double posts and people who don't seem to notice the word "Edit" and the button accompanying it, like it was mentioned.

Edit: Nevermind.. my sig's too long (character-wise) to have that added and I'd rather not take out the warning from Iridium.
