Rep Power: 0 ![]() | "The World is Flat" by Thomas L. Friedman. Wow....I'm really surprised to see I'm the first one to list this book. (Ok, so the majority of posted books here have been fiction) I know the subject matter and the age group here may be a conflict, but still, this book is extremely intresting and relevant. Oh well, I guess in the end it's up to the reader. (I'd list other books, but I'd go on forever) |

| relative power | I'm dissapointed in what the majority of people said their favorite books are. All new things.... Don't people ever pick up a book from the 1900's anymore? Everything said is from the 2000's, the plot lines, everything has been done already. It's too dissapointing... Don't get me wrong, I like some newer books, but they aren't generic. My list: Anything Eoin Colfer Anything Cornelia Funke Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury Animal Farm by George Orwell Anything Charles Bukowski Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut American Gods by Neil Gaiman The Outsiders - S.E. Hinton Anything Edgar Allan Poe |
