Xbox 360 games

Hey everybody. I got an xbox 360 for Christmas and I got Halo 3 and beat it on legendary last night. I have Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion as well. The reason for this thread though is to ask if anybody knows any good games for the 360 I can rent. I am bored now and I need a good game. So does anybody recommend any?

hmm.. depends on what kind of games you like.. Maybe you will like "call of duty 4"?

well i like first person shooter games like halo and i like RPGs. Has anybody ever played the game bio shock?

Hmmm.. It's not many RPGs on 360 though.. The only one I knew about is Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon.. I have heard that bio shock is good, but haven't tried it myself though..

ok thanks. I have played blue dragon and it was pretty good. But the eternal sonata looked kinda childish so i kinda strayed away from that one.

I think that eternal sonata is pretty good:) But I think that it is more a girls game than a guys game...

lol Eternal Sonata has a very mature plot.

I don't get why there's this misconception that "lolz cel-shaded = babyz gaem lawlawl", it's an art style.

Anyway a list of some good 360 games out right now.

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (Jet Fighter game)
Beautiful Katamari (quirky/addicting puzzle-like game)
BioShock (scary first-person shooter, a must play for 360 owners)
Blue Dragon (Your general RPG, look up videos of it to see if it's your thing)
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (Real-Time-Strategy game, if that's your thing)
Crackdown (Grand Theft Auto-like game with added awesome and superpowers, underrated game)
Dead or Alive 4 (Fighter game)
Dead Rising (Zombie survival game, tons of weapons, blood, crazy awesome psycho characters)
DIRT (racing game)
Eternal Sonata (Mature and fun RPG despite it's art style, worth a rent atleast)
Gears of War (Dark and gritty third-person shooter, lots of blood, lots of weapons, online play)
Mass Effect (Choose-your-adventure style RPG from Bioware, a must-play for RPG fans and 360 owners alike, third person RPG/shooter)
Prey (Shooter in a scary mothership with cool physics effects and ghost powers/weapons)
Quake 4 (Another shooter, you may be familiar with the Quake series. Online Play, dunno how active though)
Saints Row (Grand-Theft-Auto-like to a T, if you like GTA this will bide you off until GTA4 comes out on the 360)
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle For Middle-earth II (Real-Time-Strategy, if that's your thing, with LoTR thrown in)
Two Worlds (Sort of like Oblivion, I believe, I don't know much about this game)
Viva Piñata (Sort of like The Sims or Sim City, only with adorable Pinatas, fun game despite it looking kiddy)

well.. it's rated 12+ so it's not suitable for little children..

I wouldn't think so, despite what the cel-shaded art style suggests the game deals with a lot of betrayal, death, suicide, et cetera

but then again you have to think, Children don't usually want to play RPG's anyway

I would reccomend you to give Eternal Sonata a try, I still think that it is a game that most girls would like, but just try it:)

The game is centered around the classical pianist and composer Frédéric Chopin, who died of tuberculosis at the age of 39. The story envisions a fictional world dreamed/hallucinated by Chopin during his last hours of life, that is influenced by Chopin's past and music, and which himself is a center character in the world.

The story is woven around the plight of many the character you meet, all interconnected with a struggle between two major kingdoms at war in this dream land, the powerful Forte ruled by Count Waltz, and Baroque led by Captain Crescendo.
