Guildwars: Nightfall

Squee.

Today, in a press release, NC released information about the second sequal to the ever growing Guild Wars saga, entitled Nightfall. The game's set to take place in a North African environment, contrary to the Oriental setting of Factions and the European and American stylings of Prophecies, with two new classes, to boot.

Funding, maybe? Guild Wars requires no monethly fee, so this is how they keep everything afloat. Besides, every other MMORPG out there does it, why shouldn't GW?

Besides, you can still interact with the people in Nightfall if you only have Prophecies or Factions, and the PvP arenas are still open to everyone, so what's so bad about it?

Didn't play GW for long but I assumed it had one of those things where you pay money and then you get bonus stuff. (Most of those free mmorpgs so I thought why not this one)

Every other MMORPG has 2 squeals? I've only seen up to one (don't play alot of mmorpg so I don't have alot to compare to.)

Yesh, I know its stand alone.

I just don't like the idea of squeals for mmorpgs.

Doesn't WoW have two sequals? I know FFXI does, but...eh, I dunno. I'm still not sure if I'll get it, I love Guild Wars, but I'm gonna wait until the preview event until I decide.

WoW has an expansion pack coming out.

I havne't beaten either game's stories though. I prefer to just do whatever, like FoW runs, or some SF farming. All with friends of course. Soloing is boring.

Been waiting to hear info on this one. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem, mate.

Shortly after I got Factions I got really sick of the game myself, until two of my friends bought the expansion and pulled me back in. Soloing really is irritating >_>
