Heh. Baiten Kraitos...

Anyway, Baten Kaitos was a fun game. The story sucked throughout the first disc, because it was boring. I haven't played through the whole thing, but I've heard that there's a plot twist that actually makes things interesting.

They're also making a sequel, but I've only seen glimpses.

I have never played this game. The man at my local Gamestop tried his best to make me buy this game. I repeatedly toldhim no, and I am glad that I never bought this game. From what I hear, the game was not all that good. It does not sound good to me after reading so many disappointed people's posts, and the reviews this game had.

I have the game and yea, the voice acting sucks and the battle system is different compared to most, however the plot twist is truly unexpected and completely amazed me. I personally thought the game wasn't completely rubbish although i haven't finished it im not that far away from it. I believe though its really a matter of opinion however im sure theres far more bad than good reviews of this game. So i think u were safe Sealightbreeze. Don't ask why but i believe you saved yourself some money that day.

Oh man, sorry, I just gotta fix that... Baiten Kraitos, honestly...

At first, the card-based fight system took a LOT of getting used to... but when I did get used to it, I loved the game. I borrowed it from my friend, so I couldn't finish the second disk (like, I was just about to get Kalas back from the clutches of eternal evil...). But I LOVE the originality of the card-based system! ^^ And the voice acting wasn't ...completely... awful -- whoever they got to do Lyude's voice should be shot, but that's about it. And I liked how they involved the player by making them Kalas' "guardian spirit"... very different approach.

All in all, it wasn't an easy game, but it wasn't as difficult as some games I've played. ^^ But the enviroments were beautiful, and the character development was nicely done.

I played up to the part where you meet Mizui (or what ever...IT's name is) and I hade to return it to blockbuster!!!! But I thought it was good and want to buy it...didnt you guys think the sound track is good too? I hated all the Female voice actors voices...Kalas a gibari...(I forgot all the names dammit!) Lyude could have some work and Mizwhatsi's was just creepy but that blonde chick made it all boring....
