I just snuck right past them, and engaged them as few times as possible. The ones I couldn't sneak past I did the guerilla bow tactic (shoot, hide, repeat). Once you deal with Cicero, they'll be gone.

I use this strategy when I know I'm outnumbered, just dash to the questmaker and spam fast healing, I used this at the end of the main quest to get to the portal to the last area.

So...how many hours have you guys invested into your main file? I'm approaching 90 hours, keep in mind I just started two weeks ago, Xbox broke shortly after buying the game, I just recently fixed it.

My next playthrough will be with my fists.
So I did a mission that was SUPPOSE to cure me of the werewolf disease..I can't transform anymore BUT I still can't get the well rested bonus and my days as a werewolf continue to increase...
