Activision unveils time-tripping 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II

So it's officially announced, even though a sequel was hinted at in the campaign and by retailers. Things that stood out to me in the trailer and this article:

-Woods is still alive
-Set in the near future (2025)
-Main character is Mason's son
-Woods is still alive
-Zombies will be back
-Multiplayer will be "tweaked"
-branching storyline based on player actions
-WOODS IS STILL kupoING ALIVE

Looks like the same crappy game that has been released for years. And the fanboys will eat it up as usual.

Well, it would certainly be nice if they improved the online experience while taking a "back-to-basics" approach.

I still don't find myself getting all that excited for it though.

Im only getting excited for the ZOMBIES son. and damn HOW THE diddly THEY REVIVING WOODS ? Id love to see how they play that out. There is a flashback mission so they'll probably explain it there.

I'm diddlyin psyched for it. Black Ops, in my opinion, was the best COD since COD4. Treyarch putting in work to make this COD pretty different and unique from it's previous iterations. I love branching stories and hopefully Teryarch can work this out beautifully. People are gonna hate on it reagardless just because it's COD and it's the thing to love to hate at the moment.

I got to agree with you on the Black Ops being the best CoD part. And on how people will hate on it just because it's CoD.

I'll still buy it, I'm just not impressed with the reveal trailer. Maybe if the graphics in the trailer looked better.

Is it me or does it seem that this game would be fun to play co-op on the Wii-U?
sadly to my knowledge the game wasn't even announced for the system..
It a shame because i might of considered buying it.
