Epic Mickey (see: not related to kingdom hearts)

Some art for a game codenamed 'Epic Mickey' was recently released. The art itself looks nothing Kingdom Hearts related, however there has been talks about this image in particular:

People have speculated that the black objects circulating the bottom are Heartless, leading them to believe this is a Kingdom Hearts game, whether that be Kingdom Hearts III or another spin-off.

Those things at the bottom don't really look much like Heartless to me. :/ Though it's really hard to see what exactly they are though.

If it isn't a Kingdom Hearts game, it's still simply stunning. It's a shame concept art rarely looks like the finished concept.

to be honest, the small objects at the bottom do not look like
heartless, but rather houses (a village) that lay under a towering
staircase that lead to the castle evidently shown in the picture.

well wuddya know,
suddenly anything that has to do with a disney game
is quick to be subject to KH. That will not always be the case
if at all. Anyway, the concept of this seems fairly good, and
a little creepy seeing the mechanical goofy and all, but as far
as that, i'm interested to see some finishing results.

Fans: OMG! this must be KH!!

lol, you have to admit though that Disney doesnt make too many games in which the main protagonist isnt the main protagonist of one of their movies so I dont think its too crazy for people to think of the possibility of it being KH.

A game that involves Disney that doesn't have the typical Disney looks is usually guessed to be Kingdom Hearts related nowadays.

I think it looks good but sadly I don't think it's KH related. If anything it's most likely to be a spin off or side game.

Btw are they Steamboat Willie characters in the bottom picture on the Kotaku article?

Rumor has it that it's for Wii.

Still in production though, which is a good thing. Was confirmed they were still working on it in an interview two months ago. Seriously doubt it's Kingdom Hearts though, the artist is a Western artist, and Square Enix is no where to be seen.
