I agree, DMC 3 is the best, next the original, and the worst was 2. I didn't play 4 yet.

DMC3 is definitely the best of the series. First one's the hardest. The fourth has lots of polish and improves upon 3 a bit, but the level design is whack. You only get to play Dante for about six missions.

Was it four or three with the annoying manor-type-place and something about moving spinning statue things and breaking through a painting after a LONG time.
Haven't played either in a LONG time, and I'm pretty sure it was 4. That was bad.
