Tidus or Cloud. Who was the better character?

well i am gonna go with tidus on this one sure he whined but like u guys said he had his reasons for whining whereas cloud has a stupid reason and he should learn to get on with his life........

Another thing. Tidus had two very attractive women running after him, Yuna and Rikku. If he wanted to, he could have had both. Cloud had nobody, he was too busy thinking of a way to pop the question to Sephiroth.

Tidus was better as an overall character, because at the end of the game, he changed more than Cloud did

Cloud an cold person. That the way he want to live his life. Plus Cloud has alway been my hero since I played they game. There more to this story so I leave it like that.

Tidus is only 17 he has alot to be happy about. But I remeber when I was 17 there was nothing to be happy about. I don't like Tidus all that much. He to happy for me.

Tidus is a functional member of society while Cloud needs to be shot.

I recon cloud is the best, not only does he have cool life, his additude towards things that happen in the game, slighty acts like i probly would. he is also, tidus is cool don't get me wrong but i relate to coud better

Well, Cloud was quiet and mysterious. He was cool and collected. He was always serious. Well until half way into the game, I slowly started to dislike him. But I do like the Kingdom Hearts version of Cloud because he kept the good side of Cloud within, not that wimpy midpoint Final Fantasy 7 Cloud. The Final Fantasy 7 version needed more improvement.

I also think Tidus was a better character. He was a bit annoying and he was a little naive, and a brat, but that is what made him an enjoyable character. He was funny and he kept the story more interesting. The way he kept his fate seal within him and kept his true feelings about his destruction from everybody, even Yuna, was a very good move. He made Yuna and everyone else think that she was the only one who was going to vanish. That was very heroic.

I can't even compare Cloud's bravery to Tidus's bravery. Tidus is just a better character overall.

If I met someone like Cloud, I'd probably hit them. He's not cool, he's pathetic. You know those people that live on benches in the city, that just sit there feeling sorry for themselves? That's Cloud.
