Auron is nowhere near emo. Auron has that cool, laid back attitude. Cloud is emo.

Auron never died at the hands of flies. He fought against something that destroyed islands just for fun. He barely lived and still got all the way to some island before dying because of injuries, but he was so strong that he lived more so then any other unsent, affecting the physical world like a human instead of becoming a fiend. Oh wait Cloud stabbed Sephiroth behind his back when he wasn't paying attention and still got stabbed.

What Yunalesca have to do with anything. He didn't fight Yunalesca because oh wait, she would give him away as being unsent when he didn't want anyone besides Tidus to know.

Yunalesca killed him. He was making a big deal out the lies and Braskas death when Yunalesca struck him. He then died at the bottom of Mt Gagazet (a place right next to Zanarkand and can be crossed on foot).

Wrong. He did beat him in Nibelheim. Then he defeated him, with help, in the Northern Crater.

Auron cant compare to the legendary strength of Sephiroth. What has he ever been physically capable of doing that compares? Did he manage to burn down an entire village? No. Did he wipe out an organization of guards alone, before killing the president of the world? No. Did he kill a beast like a leviathan by himself? No. Could he summon a meteor that detroyed a major city like Migar? No. Did he manage to hold on to a substance as strong as holy? No. Heck, even the way that Sephiroth collapsed the top of the Shinra building was impressive compared to any of Auron's "skills".
