is Halloween~!

It is also my favorite holiday to base my art off of. Christmas I enjoy too...but I can't draw Christmas trees to save myself. >_>'
No, definently Halloween. The night and the feeling of someone walking behind you while you trick-or-treat is amazing. Too bad I'm not aloud to go out anymore, but at least I get to dress up.

Anyway, another Kingdom Hearts site was having a little fan art contest and I decided to stop procrastinating and actually join in. Sorry it's on the small side...I can't upload anything bigger for some reason:

Sora's Halloween outfit was frustrating to draw because the original picture of him is dark and I can't see details of his clothes...especially his upper body. >_>'
And that pumpkin...-hiss- took me forever to color. I don't know why, it just did. And no, I didn't become extremely lazy and decide not to color Sora. xD I wanted to make the pumkin "stick out" more than anything, so I decided to color it instead.

AND I FORGOT THE WINGS ON HIS OUTFIT ASDFGHJKL;;
Oh well.

well, the pumpkin in the bg looks alright :3 nice color job :3

although, cant say 99% the same for sora though O: the face looks fine but the rest seems odd O: or thats just me? O.O anyhoo, the proportions are fine except the left arm looks shorter than the right but ayways its nice :3

oh honeylemontea this sounds like critism O___o O.O

Colored pencils...It's ok, but next time you should try shading more of the pumpkin. Like make the darker parts more richer with dark orange (wider too, not just little dark lines). There are some parts here and there around the upper body of Sora that seem off, but I really do like how you decided not to color him. The emphasis on the pumpkin is really neat since well, it revolves around Halloween!

Congrats on winning the contest as well, a wonderful treat for the holidays. Great work!

Wow thats awesome. I think not coloring Sora was kinda cool because it makes it look darker :O The pumpkin looks awesome. =D

The upper body of Sora was probably the most difficult. In Nomura's drawing, Sora is slouched over so it was somewhat hard to invision how he would look standing straight up. But, at least I attempted it...even though I wanted to slam my head into a desk. xD

Hey,thats pretty good,the pumpkin in the back looks great!:D
Sora could use some work,(Everyone said this already,why am I saying that..=__=;;)
His legs should be bigger.:3

Sora's arms and legs are supposed to be awkwardly small...or at least his arms are. They look like bones in the origianl picture, which kind of threw me off for a second.
