Yea, I didn't shade it at all, only the hair but, my friend is teaching me how to shade soon so hopefully I can shade it and then post it here, till then, no shading. D:

Anyway I can improve at all, please tell me. Thanks.

Quick question before I actually comment on the picture, did you copy or trace? Or was it all freehand?

I did it all by freehand. I just used Photoshop to erase the smudges and unwanted lines since I blow at coloring. Dx

Wait so you freehanded this without looking at an already existing Kenshin image? ;-; I think DGray was a bit loose when he mentioned freehanding.

Oh, no, I looked at a Kenshin picture for a little bit, then I took it to freehand, I didn't sit there with a picture beside me the whole time though.

Don't get so picky about freehanding/copying guys. <-< I know a lot of people who use pictures for references. Easy way to learn and get the feel for something. I'm all for an original pose myself, but looking at a picture is fine. Please don't have a cow.

It's good though. His right cheek seems a little..I dunno, odd. Or maybe it's his left side of his head that looks odd making that cheek seem odd. Just add some shading and it'll look awfully good.

It's not that it doesn't help you improve, it's just that it's hard to say improve on this and that when they use a reference rather than freehand from the mind. Get what I'm trying to say? I use ref pictures all the time when trying to find out how to use a pose, but just attempting to criticize and help them improve is harder when they really didn't freehand all of it. Not saying you didn't Ichigo, it's a great picture, but there's somethings I do and don't do. :3 So I'mma stay out of this one though, sorry. I sorta have my prefs when criting certain artwork.
