Default Manga Tutorials

Yes, tsuki has started to make tutorials.
I was inspired by the people at school, who kept asking on how to draw manga.

Here my manga cover: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40711970/
I plan to ink and erase and yada yada when I get the chance.

Here's my first tutorial, it's on how to draw a girls eye: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40712204/

Here's my second tutorial, it's on how to draw boys eye:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40712387/

I plan on making quite a few tutorials. I'm starting out with the basics( like eyes, noses, mouth, body...etc.) then I'll get on to more stuff like costume (such as halloween, around the world clothes...etc.)

~enjoy

BTW CC would help a lot.

This is great for people who want to become a mangaka. I'm ready to learn, now teach me! I really want to become a concept artist and/or some mangaka person. Although, I know how to draw shirts and weaponry. I want to learn how to draw hands and other stuff.

Edit: What do you mean by "CC"?

Thats cool, would be nice to learn some new techniques I guess, my shading and detail is down. I gotta work on some stuff, but otherwis its all good, infact me and my friend Ojike (formly know as Heartless Nobody) are making several mangas which are in the works as we speak. Stories are completely and some scans/storyboards are finished, we just have to do (ALOT) more and we'll be all set...

occ: I don't like coloring at all, I'm more prone to the black & white style

the_13th_member: Just make sure you use different tones then, not just ink shading. It makes it look real and suggests different colors. I personally am really bad at making it black and white, my pictures are either sketchy (pencil shading so it's gray-toned) or colored (inked and then colors), so..yeah. I'm personally a huge fan of coloring on pieces of art, sketches for concepts, and black and white for comics. Mhmm. (hope that makes sense).

Nice job tsuki. Maybe make it a little neater and more professional? Like, clean up the lines and use a font for the words, not your handwriting (unless you can find someone with phenomonal font-like handwriting). I look forward to more.

twilight dragon: CC-constuctive critism just give me the ups and downs of my tutorials.

the 13th member: When ever you have that stuff up I want to see it.

Kairigirl: Well, I plan on hand writing or typing and printing it out ( but my printers not working). I'm going to make it more neater by inking it and erasing it the extra stuff. For now all I can pretty much do is hand write it, but I'm going to make it neater as I go and make it more organized.

Update: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40720347/
This tutorials on how to make noses and mouths for both boys and girls.

I also plan on doing tutorials on how to shade and how to do manga(like frames/speed lines...etc.) but for now like I said earlier I'm just doing the bare basic.

^I see. Well, good luck and hopefully you'll be able to really get this off the ground and become one of them cool artists that everyone adds on dA cause they like your tutorials. (Tutorials are total awesomeness, I don't have the patience). They're looking good so far, they just need a bit of cleaning up, which you can do later.

I'd find it cool to make a tutorial, I'm just not good at telling people how to copy my style....cause my a bit different than others.

Oh and I have some of my pics in this section somewhere look around I'm sure your bound to find them...

And yeah my technique is to basicly sketch out my drawings/manga use that .03 lead where it calls for extreme detail. When I'm finished with the overall product I shade it where it calls for shade, and I blacken the areas that need it with black pen ( the art type of pens) And it usually turns out the way I like them. Oh and Me ,Ojike, and AP have some stuff on our project Exiled Order....there in here too....

I would make it smaller if I knew how to.

Oh that sounds pretty cool how you put a lot of work into the sketching and inking/coloring.

Sorry I didnt say something faster, havnt really been on for the past few days.
Heres the next tutorials:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40926123/ This is on how to do heads.

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/40926324/ This is on how to do bodies for both female and male.
Kairigirl if you think the bodies one is to reviewing then take it outta my post or tell me and I'll take it out. I'm not sure if I could, I dont have details.

Nope, they're fine.

I use IfranView if I need to resize something. You go there, open it up, give it a new name (from "girl" to "girl1" maybe) and save it and it usually turns out smaller. o-o Also, expirement between using JPEG and GIF and PNG and other stuff. I think there's also in paint you can open up a new one, go to Page Setup, and set how big you want it to be. I usually, if the picture took up a whole piece of paper, make it to be 8x11 inches so that when I upload it the picture will be the size of a piece of paper instead of the size of about ten pieces of paper. Then you see the detail how you'd see it irl.

That might help, but don't take my word on it. x-x Just, when you're expirementing, make sure you always have a backup. I do know some stuff likes to kill something when you resize it. x-x
