your probally wondering what a Mexican Amphithere is. It's a type of dragon with feathers on its wings and its mostly green and blue. The scanner is rubbish so the colour and the quality is quite bad and the tail and mouth was chopped off a bit. stupid scanner...

its not that good really but please give your opinions. I found it on this book called Dragonology.

Here are two pics of Link and Epona from the legend of zelda: Orcarina of time. they're not very good but oh well. The scanner is rubbish so the quality is bad again and I didn't colour them in so I don't need to moan about colour.

I think I could do better but we'll see I'll try and draw them again

This is a picture of a western dragon I drew from this book called dragonart. I love ddrawing so I decided to give it a try. Its not very good coz of the scanner again but if it wasn't for the scanner, it wouldn't be on this forums right now.

Please tell me what you think of it. All the people at school say its good but I don't think it's soo good, that I'm even better than a proper artist.

A Kirin is a chinese Unicorn but it doesn't look like the one I've seen. I copied it from this art book called Dragonart as you aalready know but I think I could do better. The scanner is the problem again, it made a big line on the picture and its very light so you might not see all of it. I iope you all will like it anyway

I decided to put my Castern drgaon on now. It looks like Haku from Spirited away. you know, a spirit dragon. I couldn't be bothered to colour it in though. I thought it might ruin it. It not very good coz of the scanner again but thats the best i can do. I hope you like it

Regarding Castern Dragon
WOW that's good. 9.5/10!! Keep it up Jo!

I've seen you're Kirin before. It's very good. Scanners are very annoying. 9.5/10 once again!

Regarding Western dragon
Woo that's good! 9.9/10 Jo!! Keep up the great work!:D

Regarding Link and Epona (Legend of Zelda)
I've seen these ones and I think they're very well drawn. You're a good artist Jo! Well done! Hmm let's see......8.9/10?

Regarding Mexican Amphithere(dragon)
This one's my favourite! I love this one it's really cool! 10/10 for it, partly for the drawing, partly for the effort, and partly because its my fave!

Okay. namine's shadow: I merged your five threads into one. If you have pieces of art, please put them all into one thread. x-x I wasn't sure what you wanted the title to be so it's just one of your art pieces, the Mexican Amphithere one. If you want a different title, pm me. Also feel free to edit your post if you want, but please, next time, just put it all in one thread. x-x

Kairi6795, I merged your posts as well and put in italics the picture you were referring to if your post already didn't mention it.

As for your art, very nice. The Mexican Amphithere one looks a little sloppy with the coloring though. You also seem to be very good at animals, though your people could use some work. Link's nose looks a little too flat, but Epona looks awesome. You're much better at animals than I am. I like your Kirin the best though. Overall, I'd say 8/10

Yes yes, the Amphithere, as I recall that, it should be on pages 9 & 10 from the back of the page title of Dragonology on Chapter 11 I think.
I couldn't find the page number of it so its a guess. I bought that book three weeks ago or so.
The Amphithere needs to have the wings a little darker, if you were trying to draw that one from the book.

As for Epona, the first one looks kind of good, but its not as good enough with the brighteness. Hey, is it possible to darken your scanner's brightness or/and add the pressure of the pencil up a bit?
In this, you need to add more details to it, otherwise, it looks like my 3-4rth grade drawing of Epona that I made in the back of my journal.

The second drawing of Epona that you made is also good, but Link's face needs a make over, heh, and yet his face looks fine to me there, but I would consider that it fails a little with its parrallel proposition, and as said with one of the coments above, it may look flat. To get rid of it, you should cast the shadows in the common areas of sort, for example: under his hair or chin-to-the ears.
Well, his hair makes him not look like...him. The front of Link's hair should be longer, then the others slightly shorter in different sizes, and it then covers the front and back of the ear when the wind is not blowing his hair, usually.Or else, it looks like Link had a haircut recently. The one you have now looks like it remains even with the face, but is there any wind? Try to improve it by slightly drawing the hairtips outwards or inwards towards or from his face.
Link needs a few more details from his clothing, for example: His boots and the clothing from the bottom of his head.
For the Epona there, add more details to the hoofs, especially the one on the front of Epona to her left side.
Add more details to her eyes, a glean would look just fine.
Add a few strands of hair coming out of the tail.
She needs anotonomy on the face. Or more muscular shadows or lines, on the face, example: The nose to the eyes or below the eyes, or the jaw muscles.
Epona also needs more details on the ears and the mane.

The dragon needs Alot of details there.
It looks good, but I consider it a rough outline even in Jessica's drawing through that step.

The Unicorn one, it..is kind of good...
-Missing shadows.
The One that looks like the Spirit Dragon from Spirited away, needs alot of details.
But in general, it is kind of good too.
-Missing shadows.
I forgot the page number but thats not nessecairily important.
I wonder if you finished them..or not...hmm...

Well, your drawings are good, but it needs alot of other details to go along with them so they can be even better you know?
