| Keyblade Wielder | So, I know i'm not the best at drawing, but I need some CnC. For those of you who have been following my story i've been working on called 'The Shooting Star', you should already know who these characters are. ;D Let's start off with Star: Early concept of Star. ^ This is what I had originally had in mind for Star. Star, final concept? ^ As you can see, Star's appearence did not change in the final idea. Star with different outfit. ^ Just an idea I had in mind. ( Yes I know her arm on the left is bigger than the one on the right. :/ ) Now, Heart looks like this: Early concept of Heart. ^ My original design. Heart, final concept? ^ Notice how Heart's clothing changed. The final picture I will post is a colored version of Star: Colored Star. So, CnC? |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() Currently playing: Rhythm Heaven! Level: 13 EXP: | You have improved since the last drawing I saw from you, the colored one is probably the best. Try instead of just drawing nostrils drawing the actual shape of the nose. Hope that helps |

| how annoying. | Work on realistic anatomy before trying to tackle anime style since it is just a cartoon style. You seem kind of confused with what style you're trying to emulate with faces I notice. Chins with anime style are almost always sharp or at least the faces are long to give room to the big eyes. Noses are usually just a triangle shape with maybe a nostril. Try using references for poses and whatnot, too. |

| Member | Well I can't lie, the drawings are amateur at best. But of course, everyone needs to start somewhere and at 15 you have a whole lot of time to practice your anatomy.(There are countless tutorials out there just by searching on Google.) The main issues with your style at the moment are; The eyes tend to be too far up her head. Remember that even Manga drawings follow the basic rules of anatomy. They should be around half way down the head, one eye width apart. I think they'd benefit from a chin, lol. The way the head merges straight into the neck is a bit of a childish way of drawing. The legs have no shape, they are a little too straight. The body has many curves, beginner artists really do just need to take a good look at the human form. Life drawing classes help, and there are plenty of nude stocks on Deviant Art to study. The clothing has no folds or creases, study the way fabric falls on the body. They're very one dimensional. For example, take the socks. They are just a straight line across her legs. They need more detail to them. Again, study fabric! Take a good look. The line art is a bit messy. Take the hand on the second picture for example. It's a bit blob-like. However, I think you just need a thinner fine-liner.Copic multiliners are great pens for line drawing, and they come in very thin varieties. Also, a good quality paper would be great. As for the coloured picture, what kind of coloured pencils are you using? Cheap pencils have little pigment and make drawings look weak. Prisma coloured pencils are great, or so I'm told. However I think you've done a great job with the eye. It looks very shiny, 3-dimensional, and it really pops. I hope that was useful for you! |
