I'm gonna be Frank here

These are a couple of sketches I and Ojike have worked on for a series we've recently started working on.

Obviously our main character is a Steampunk Frankenstein again this is just a rough sketch we collabed on to figure out his look seeing as he is the main character it would be nice to have his design finished first. Now that his designs finished we can go back and start adjust his look from here. Also note that because he's a Frankenstein his body isn't supposed to look anatomically correct.

Here you'll see a couple of our other characters in Sherlock Holmes, Watson, The Magician(rabbit) and the priest.

Last but not least we have Jack the Ripper and our creepy version of Pinocchio, god I still can't believe we created him to look that way if I ran into a room with that doll and it moved I do believe I'd shit myself.

I still feel a little odd about having Jekyll & Hyde along with Jack the Ripper seeing as they're so close to being the same minus the separate personality.

i friggin love the first picture.

I can imagine the skin being a palish green and yellow,
and the mechanical arm having a rusty redish golden look.

Oh why thank you very much and if you felt like doing some rough sketches feel free to do so seeing as I sent you an invitation to help out if you wanted to.

We still have yet to draw out Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Dorian Gray & his portrait, Sweeney Todd, Mrs. Lovett, Alice, the Chester Cat and several others I have yet to mention.

I never really based him off an actor so I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that.

You can't really call Frank young or old considering he's going to look different all over his body anyway, but the thing you do need to know is that he isn't supposed to be uber bulky and huge. The good doctor made him in the imagine of what the "perfect" male body was supposed to be during that period and time so him being overly huge and bulky would be considered more freakish than "beautiful". He is tall though...

yeah, i was going for a more fit but not bulky look.
Of course from the angle i drew, it looks to be that way.
I wanted his right arm to look scrawny but a bit muscular at the same time,
and i wanted his left mechanical arm to be a little hefty. In this case
like the old Frankenstein, he limped on one leg seeing as it was heavier,
in this case his body would limp a little bit because of his mechanical arm.
Then again this is your character, im just making a suggestion.
And judging from the pictures, i think your project is going a long well
