Default Sora/Roxas 3D Modeling Attempt

I don't know, people have been telling me it looks like Sora to them, but Sora's face is much chubbier at the cheeks. (And yes, the eyelashes are pretty bugged)

And for all you experts in 3D modeling, yes, I know the geometry probably looks very messy. I don't have much knowledge in 3D, I had to ask my friend for help on things like "Welding tool" which I never knew existed lol.

Pretty good so far. I have not messed with Maya or 3DsMax in about a year, so I wouldn't really be able to provide you with much advice.

What program do you use, by the way?

Oh, Thanks! I used 3ds Max 8. I haven't gotten the eyelashes working yet, and haven't started hair... xD;

Can't just grab the edges/verts/faces you want and size them out? You can try to size it out on the X Axis and then just adjust everything to fit. It'd just take a bit more work and you'd have to sculpt the cheeks to give it a firm feel to the skin. Really, it shouldn't be too hard. And if you're gonna complain that his forehead looks too thick, then just size up the verts you want.

Oh, and the nose is a bit flat. Try subdividing that one edge and just extrude the mid-vert a bit to give it a more natural feel. You probably already thought of this, but I just wanted to remind. When you render the image, it'll look a bit choppy.

Very good nonetheless. How's that work? Cylinder that you continually extruded and subdivided until you got the result you wanted? Maybe that's just how I'm seeing it.

Yeah, the forehead does look pretty wide now, I'll have to fix it.

Oh, I see. I only assumed because his neck was looks nice and cylinder like, thought you started from that and worked from there. I assume too much. That's just the way I start, in that I won't have to model the neck from there and fit it on my object.

Don't get the wrong idea, what you're doing works. It's just how I do so.
