Original Character Help

I'm writing a series right now. It's my first book and it's a story that I have been building on for some time. I have recently decided to draw the main character of my series. I have no artistic ability (pertaining to drawing not writing) so I have been struggling with it. I have even checked out various books that give me instructions on how to draw. I have gotten better, but I still can't draw my character exactly the way I imagine him. My wish is for him to come alive on the page. Everyone knows that when a picture is drawn well it's almost as if it tells some kind of story. Maybe what I just said doesn't make any sense. But I was wondering if anyone would like to draw my character. I don't feel comfortable just posting his description, and I wasn't for sure where to post this. But if anyone would like the challenge of drawing him I'll Private Message the description to you. Thank you for your time.

Can someone please help me out? I have never been good at drawing. But I have been making an effort lately. I would just like to make sure that my description is good enough. That's the only reason why I want my character drawn. Everyone imagines things in a different way, but I did want to make sure that my characters description was alright.

Why do you need to draw him in the first place? I am also writing my own series, but I think my description of him in the story is enough. Most people who read have imaginations don't they?

hey spyells if you can trust me ill do it well. Youve seen my five minute drawings and 30 minute drawings. I have some free time so ill be able to take a lot of time on it.

I want to draw my character for me. It's just for my records. Plus I've always wanted to draw him on paper. I doubled posted because no one had posted on this thread and I posted it yesterday. I hate double posting.

If someone draws the character will you post it? If not thats fine.

Actually, people shouldn't be bumping their threads the day they've made them :v Otherwise it counts as a double post.

Also, if you can't even draw your OWN character how you WANT him, then how can you expect others too? We read a description, and we see it quite differently than you and as thus, it's not like we can draw your character exactly the way you picture him in your mind.

Jay Chou: you're right, we'll each see the character differently. How Fatal Blade will draw the character will be different from how I draw him. That's how book illustrations are though. Very few writers draw their book covers and so the illustrator gets to draw the cover. Besides, sometimes people just want to see how a character will turn out when someone else draws it/her/him.

I'm glad that I can give some people a challenge. Challenges are good sometimes. This works out for me because now I will have some illustrations of my character, and the rest of you get to practice your art skills. Thanks guys!

Spyells, could i try it ? im quite good at drawing coz im a bit experienced and i've already drawn lots of stuff i got a whole folder of it.btw i've still got lots of spare time.
