Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() | The first has poor composition. If the photo were leveled out it'd look a lot better. Don't like the second. The third is my favorite. Good composition, good focus as well, generic subject but everyone loves flowers. The only thing I don't really like is the colors. Have you tried color correcting in Photoshop? Or hell, color editing would make this look a lot better. Maybe something like this? http://xs126.xs.to/xs126/08160/edit190.png Just a thought. |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Added two bold color layers, a color balance, Levels, and Gradient Map layer. Then I messed with the brightness and saturation. Sounds like a lot but it takes 5 minutes when you know which colors to use. what kind of camera are you using? |

| I love the way you make it sound... | The third one is quite lovely. I, for one, am a wretched photographer, but you seem to know what you're doing. |

| relative power | I definitely agree with Sparkle, pretty much on everything. The first one as a concept, has really good potential, even the area you used is really good. Sometimes it's best to take multiple photos, and I really mean many. Maybe ten or more photos of the same thing, just to get one that looks good. Another thing that could be done to make any future version of this image, if it's in your capability, but maybe not, is to get an older, more beat/busted up chair and use that. That's just an idea though. Maybe closer ups or something, but just work on it. I don't like the second one much either. Third, agreeing with Sparkle again, is the best. I quite like it, and I usually don't like flower shots, because they bore me. You have a really nice composition with this, and a really good depth. The bright light from behind it really gives a nice effect, rather than take away, so good job. But as Sparkle said, try messing around with the colors, you can make it look twn times better visual wise sometimes. +Fav on dA. |

| | P | | I personally love the first photo, even considering it's not following the rule of thirds. Because of the direction of those dirt paths, this makes a real interesting photo that connects well with your concept. It wouldn't be as effective if say, you had the person on the left or right on the photo. However, I do agree with sparkle motion that you could do a little enhancement with the levels to make the photo really stand out. The third one is really beautiful. I love the pink and yellow colors combined with the dark tree branches. And you have a DA >:3 *watches* Great work! |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Love the first and third pictures. First = Deep. Third = Professional looking. The background sorta caught my eye as a flower in a sorta trashy area or something like that. |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, Olympus make good PNCs, and you've got a good megapixel count. Have you ever tried to take an HDR? Because I think if you kept whatever colors were in the first and tone mapped about 6 exposures together you could get a beautiful shot given the scope of your landscape there. |

| Twilight Knight | well, I don't know much about photography. But I loved the first and the third. the first one is awfully interesting. Something for me to stare at and wonder. the third one is beautiful. that when I look at it just makes me want to be there smelling that flower. and forget about everything, making me relax a bit. excuse me if I don't make anything. as I said, I don't know much photography. they all looked professional. but the second one, I just didn't get it. o_O Unlike most people, I'm not a visual learner. I learn through words. I look at your pictures, and think what your trying to say with those pictures. I was able to make something out of the first and third. The second one was just random. So I couldn't say much about it. Good job overall though. |
