Wrong section yes, but you guys don't have anything better here anyway. Mods will move it.

News: Square Enix + deviantART = contest!

Looks like DA and Square hooked up and are having a design contest. Wanna join? I sure am.
Winners will have thier work critiqued by Square itself. (prolly Square of Amerikka of course)

This should be interesting...DA is chunk full of fangirls....

The deadline for Submissions is April 15th, 2008 Midnight PST and winners will be announced April 23rd.

Me and my friend were discussing this earlier. I can't believe we get given so little time x.x. Ah well, I tend to write, not draw. But by working together I might get something done =] I have some ideas I want to try out anyway.

That's because Nomura designed them along with some other guy.
Also, some of the KH team worked on this.

No, they didn't base em off KH, it's just Nomura's style. :/

Alot of his characters look alike.

MEMO (for thos who dont know):



those Characters are from the new DS game called "Its a Wonderful world"...

But due to copyright laws in the U.S, the NA version is Called "the World ends with You"

Nomura is the character designer...this is his style....
its the same for:
FF(the ones he designed characters for)
KH
this game
Samurai Legend Musashi, and so on...

so this is just to clear things up...=D

Maybe, but I am terrible at drawing people, I'm great with geometric twists though (like making orbs, cubes, pyramids, etc) Depends if I have time, maybe.
