... sometime in December (I got this camera for Christmas), I took quite a few photographs, just wondering what you guys think ... ?

you could do a lot more with your camera.
fiddle with it and try out the different settings!
play with the lighting and exposure as well.
hell! photoshop it a bit even.
create a subject or main focus within your viewfinder
play with the lighting and exposure as well.
alot of potential here if you like playing with colours against colours.

No, I think Photoshopping it would ruin it. It would be a lot more artificial and I'd rather capture something as it is ... That sounded a bit pretentious, lawl.

Also, NeloAngelo, I've smelled a doggy bin before, I have no reason to smell it again.

Well the subjects aren't particularly interesting...while the second one has a nice angle of the graffiti (I would've adjusted the focus on the wall, and not the people) on the wall, the first one is just...incredibly bland.

You say you liked the "red against the green"...in that case, it would've been better if you ONLY took a part of the red on the grass, and not have the wooden fence interfere with the image. Also, the label on the bin seems to be the main focus of the photo.

Anyway nice shots.

i meant photoshop as a means of playing with the lighting and contrast.
not to fiddle with it and pull a GFXOMG on it.
you said for the first picture you liked the red against the green. increasing the contrast would give it a bit more drama and sharpen the picture..
i'm guessing that your camera isn't a professional one,
so your options are limited.

hope you don't mind, i just tampered with it to show you what i mean,
but if you don't like it, then suit yourself. =)
