| Warrior of Darkness | There are plenty that can do it. Are you looking for something that's free or just a program in general? |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() ![]() | ok so my second question now is can I remove the vocals from a song using a program? I tried doing so using Audacity but it didn't work too well, any suggestions? |

| Warrior of Darkness | In reference to your second question, you really can't. Well, you can't do it well anyway. If you want an instrumental version of the song, you'd probably have an easier time locating an original without the vocals (which is not an easy thing to do but I'm using it as a reference to show how difficult it actually is to remove the vocals). You can play with whatever mixer plug-in your program has and remove the frequencies that correspond to the voices but this is a lot of trial and error and it never fully removes the voices anyway. Plus, it degrades the music behind the vocals to the point where many times, you can't really hear the music anymore anyway. |
