I heard FML was a pretty good app. (I don't have internet on my iTouch, so I don't know what its like but my friends have it and they say it's pretty kickass) The iPhone and iTouch aren't that different, most apps you can use on both. | doesn't play well with others | I don't know what the exact differences are between and iPod Touch and an iPhone, but I come from the bias of a person with the latter. That said, I love all of these apps: Skype -Don't know if you use Skype, but if you do you can look forward to a great adaption of the original program. MySpace Mobile -It's kind of stripped down, but it gets the job done. Google Mobile -Only because it saves you the trouble of having to type "Google" into the Safari browser every time you want to look something up. eBuddy -Very conveniently condenses all of the instant messaging services you use (AIM, MSN, Yahoo! etc) into one very easy to navigate program and allows you to use them simultaneously. Has a handful of issues, but overall I have yet to find anything better. Wikipedia -I just kind of assume that everybody is using Wikipedia these days, but I'm pretty sure they have their very own app. If not then I guess mine is third-party, but whatever; there are quite a few Wikipedia apps and they all work. Pandora -This is one of those apps that sounds mediocre even though everybody is raving about it, but I promise you'll fall in love with it really qucikly. Basically, you type in the name of a band and it generates a radio station for you that plays mostly their music with a handful of similar artists thrown in. And it is awesome. Shazam -One of those programs that identifies songs for you based on a few seconds of listening. Pzizz -Don't know if you've ever heard of Pzizz, but it is basically a program that generates a relaxing, multi-purpose ambient track for you to listen to. I am not big on meditation or power napping, and even I use it frequently just because it's really calming. New York Times -Or wherever you get your news from. I'm pretty sure I also have a Huffington Post app. And whatever else suits your lifestyle. Personally, I work out and I play guitar so I love the iFitness and GuitarToolkit apps, respectively. Maybe you're a stamp collector and you want a stamp collecting app, I don't fucking know, but there are only a handful of apps that I would recommend to literally anyone. |

| Nobody | Alright, MySpace sure. But all those messenger apps? screw it. Get IM+, it condenses them ALL into one, including skype. The rest sure, and get WHERE, it is a GREAT app that allows you check local gas prices, get directions, find local restaurants, and find movie times. If you REALLY want good apps, jailbreak it. You can get any app for free that way. |
