Default IE8 Problems
I'm trying to get IE8. I don't want any stupid "Firefox is better" crap because I know it's going to come from you sarcastic mods or some mod wannabe.

Whenever I try to install it, it says Installing Core Components forever, and never goes to the next step. Help?

I found your problem.

Also, knowing Firefox is better than Explorer doesn't make someone a mod or a mod wannabe.

Not to be rude, but it is common knowledge that Firefox is generally the superior browser in a lot of dimensions. I use IE sometimes, too, but I prefer Firefox. Why are you making it difficult for yourself?

It still doesen't work. I uninstalled adobe reader and everything. I'll just have to bear with Firefox's crashing.
