| Divinido Le Aesthetico | Alright, so I know the usual steps. IPCONFIG, go to the site that it tells you to, blah blah blah. The problem is, that I keep getting sent to 192.168.0.1 which is fine, because I remember using that portal the last time I needed my wep key (DS online lol). The problem is, this time no matter what I try in the Login page, I can't get on. Admin-(blank), Admin-admin, Admin-1234, Admin-cableroot, Admin-cableroo, User-user, User-1234, User-(blank), none of them have fucking worked. So after about forty minutes of trying to accomplish it myself, I figure I should ask: What the hell should I do now? |

| Member | assuming you are trying to get online with a notebook or a desktop i sorta had the same problem with my wireless network. 1. You can right click on your network then click properties then click security than enter your wep key 2. Or you can manually enter you network info again instead of just searching for it.. 3. Start from scratch and reset you router ( i hated doing this one) |

| Divinido Le Aesthetico | Yeah, resetting would kind of suck, so I'm going to make someone else do that. If that's what it comes down to. And yeah, I did some digging around the web, turns out that Time Warner Cable has the capability to remotely change the info on the router, and that they don't want their customers to have access to the the router. Because of this, they've gone through several username/password changes that allow access, and I haven't found anything online that has worked. I'm on an Ambit, by the way. Maybe that explains the shittiness going on. And yeah, I COULD call TWC, but the accounts are all in my parents' names, so I don't really know if they would ask questions that I wouldn't know the answers to. |
