| Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho | I'm running Vista 32bit and I'm thinking of testing out Windows 7 32bit. However, I want to clean install it and I don't want to lose my files. I've backed them up to me D: drive but I was wondering if I'd lose that drive, as well as my C: drive. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | You could always just get an external drive, put everything on there and then go for it. |

| space for rent | Like F Atlas said when you install a new operating system it has to format the hard drive which means erasing everything. Go out and get yourself a decent external, they're not that expensive and come in really handy. |
