Default help with conficker.d
My PC has a conficker.d. I need help and everywhere I go gives me data on b and c, but not d. I know it's d 'cause d is the only one that kill anti-malware.

Well the D variation is pretty new, of course that there won't be a removal solution to it yet, especially since it terminates anti-malware and blocks the user of any chances to get any more. I can't help you here.

It's not possible for something to do about it now. To lessen the damage i suggest disconnecting from the internet, so it won't get new instructions and it can't get new crap in your system.

What exactly did you do to get this? I'm not running any sort of security programs and I spend 90% of my day downloading torrents and the like.

I guess it just goes to show common sense is the only security one needs.

There are more virusses out there, not to mention spyware and malware.

I'm positive I'm clean. Even if I'm not, it's not causing any slowdown, there's no annoying pop ups, and nobody's stolen my identity, so I could care less.

Cant you put the installs for antivirus, antimalware etc. on a flash drive and download them through there?

There has barely been an update for the c version, antivir can't find it anyway, it'll take a while before it does.
