Rep Power: 8 ![]() Level: 32 EXP: | Well, here it comes! The next OS in the Microsoft family. Here's a brief overview of what it is going to entail from the official Microsoft site: Quote:
Windows 7 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I honestly think I'll still stay with XP and Linux. However, this one has gotten some brief reviews that say it might be pretty well done. Ah and here is a leaked view of it: Oversatt versjon av http://itavisen.no/sak/792762/Windows_7_lekket_til_piratene/ And the official Site: Welcome to Windows 7 So what do you think? Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 36 EXP: | It's not meant to look significantly different from Vista, because it's not a paint job, the point of Windows 7 is the allow significantly better features, performance, and ease of use, not just make it look pretty. Besides, in what way is it supposed to look vastly different from Vista anyway? What could they even do? Make it look more glossy and shiny, the end? It's not meant to be much aesthetically different, but they're hoping that the technical aspect of Windows 7 will be improvements for the better. For one, the OS is being built to be completely backwards compatible with Vista and XP programs. |

| Remember Me | This new emphasis on the taskbar reminds me of Apple's dashboard for some reason. |
