Software Question!!!

Umm what software can I used besides Photoshop, I mean I would love to learn how to use it but it's so expensive!!!! I have Vista, are there any free or cheaper programs that are still good to use? Someone please give me some help or advice...

Wait wait wait. People PAY for photoshop? I thought everyone just pirated these days. That's upsetting.

You could try The GIMP. It's a very similiar program. The only real diference is that the UI is less user friendly than Photoshop.

photoshop is the best for photo manipulation and making siggies. I don't own it either cuz of the price @_@ There's Open Canvas, SAI, painter x, etc

I've got it, but I'm still working out the tricks of it.

You could also try a program called Paint.net (not a site, a program). It has a very clean look that's reminiscent of the earlier versions of Photoshop.
