| (Sack) LittleBigPlanet (Boy) | In my opinion Prepaid phones aren't worth it. I have a shitty industrial Nextel phone that I barely use let alone turn on. Unless of course you're going to use it a lot. The one you linked looks pretty nice, TBH. I'd say go for it. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | The best prepaid cell phones are Virgin Mobile (for prices of both phones and plans) Trust me... i've studied them to the letter >.> Over all... you get better deals with Virgin Mobile. However, their phones may not do as much as other phones such as ATT GoPhones, Verizon, T-Mo etc etc. here's their website so you can check out their deals. they have both pay as you go plans, and monthly plans Prepaid Cell Phone Service and Pay as You Go from Virgin Mobile ® USA - Official Site (you are in the US right? xD) Last edited by Forever Atlas; 06/18/08 at 09:16 PM. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Here's a page with their phones: Prepaid Cell Phones, Pay as You Go with Virgin Mobile USA - Official Site As you can see, their phones are much much cheaper than most other Prepaid Cell phones.... These are the ones I used to have with them back when I used them: MP3 Cell Phone - Slider Sonic 32 MB Memory from Virgin Mobile Prepaid cell phone - Wild Card cell phone and some others that I cant find lol.... Now there are some positives and negatives to getting a V-Mobile phone.... +s... its generally cheaper, both the phones and rates.... You dont get charged for roaming etc etc. Their nights and weekends start at 7PM and end at 7AM They are on the Sprint network (really good in my experience, never had a dropped call... crisp and clear) now the negatives.... you cant download just anything to them... most content can only be downloaded from the Virgin Mobile site... and that means you will have to pay more for downloaded content. Other than that, its a great choice for prepaid... and I'm sure your mom will rather go for cheaper seeing as how she's going for prepaid. Also they have a page where you can compare rates to other companies. I'd say go over it with your mom. Depending on how much you plan to you use your phone and for what, (texting, calling etc) then you should weigh either getting pay as you go , or monthly plans with them. Any other Qs just ask me.
