Rep Power: 7 ![]() ![]() | Ok I've decided on an internet router, the Linksys WRT54G however I'm still not positive if will work for what I want to do. I want it to route the internet from upstairs to a PS3 downstairs. My only concerns are, will it be able to connect to the PS3 and will it be able to even receive and transmit the internet. I'm currently subscribed with Charter which means I already have a small box sitting on top of my PC. |

| Premium Member | It will work, I have the same router box, that I am using for my ps3, and I also have charter with the other little box, when you get the linksys it will come with a cable that will let you interconnect both of the boxes together. |

| Exiled | you'll be fine. I did the same thing with my PS3, and it works great! and, my router is like a yr 2000 model, so yours should work even better :D |
