Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I know you can unlock your PSP and play crazy games and yadda yadda but is there a way to somehow convert PS2 games or dl them so you can play them on your PSP? Are there some secret websites that have converted games? Ive heard people can do some crazy stuff with PSPs. Im hoping its not a way where you have to crack the PSP. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | As stated before, you'd have to first downgrade your PSP. I wouldn't suggest it though since I've never downgraded my PSP (and never will). It's just there for the spoiled masses to have yet another thing to complain about. What I'd do in your situation is wait for an official update from Sony which will inevitably lift some of the restrictions that were placed with previous updates. This is evident by the recent update that allowed for you to finally download custom themes, which you previously were unable to do unless you downgraded. To the above two posters: It is possible to play PS2 games on a PSP by using an emulator. Just as it is possible to play GBA games on a PSP by way of emulation. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | I've never seen PS2 games played on psp, but I've seen PS1 and GBA played on it. The only problem with downgrading is that you run the risk of "bricking" your PSP, effectively turning it into a paperweight. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | It's not that you couldn't play PS2 on PSP, I'm just not aware of any emulator that is able to run commercial games for the PS2. Even if there, the compatibility would be severely limited. |

| A Synonym for Acquiesce | The only real problem is no right stick. . . You'll only downgrade it if you mess up, which you shouldn't if you follow instructions. If we could get someone like TMM in here, he knows a lot about it. I think Dogen might too, but I'm not sure. Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide - Sony PSP Mod & PSP Hacks Forums That should help, should you choose to use it. |

2: Look around Ebay or Google for "PS2P" or "Handheld PS2" It's a full PS2 with a battery pack and DVD drive ![]() Unfortunately, it would run about 600 bucks to make. | |
