Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Can you guys help me find a good laptop to use? I am NOT getting an Apple (sorry) I usually just surf the internet, listen to music (iTunes) and use Word and Photoshop. I will use this for school. I know this is vague but if you guys have any recommendations to look into that would be great. |

| The Balance of Apathy and Lethargy | ASUS | Eee PC Get the Windows XP version. Although, unless you already have office, I suggest www: OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite for word processing, since it's freeware and is as good. |

| The Balance of Apathy and Lethargy | You don't want HP/Dell. For one, they aren't really quality computers, not to mention atrocious customer service. If all you're using it for is word processing, light surfing, and photoshopping, she doesn't need to spend 800$+ on 2 gig ram 2 ghz monsters. |
