Rep Power: 7 ![]() ![]() | Me and my friend are trying to setup his wii to his wireless internet and there seems to be a problem. It connects but it does not Allow us to go to Wii Channel or play online. The wireless system is linksys, and for some reason it only allows for vista OS to connect to it. Any help or suggestions? |

| Not the comedic type! | Yeah it sounds like that could be the issue. Just log into you're modem and change the wireless settings.

| Not the comedic type! | You should have a default password for the linksys router, if you dont know it, odds are it's really an easy one. pm me if you cant log in.

| Crimson | Give the wireless router at least a WEP key. Given that it's a Linksys router, the default address to access it is 192.168.1.1 and the default password (ignore the username part) is admin. Go to Wireless Security and give it a WEP code (just generate it from something). Remember it. On the Wii, tell it to search for the access point. You should have to give it the WEP. It'll test the connection; if it's good, great. If not, you got a problem. Btw, modem =/= router.
