Rep Power: 7    |  Firefox not working on Vista Firefox won't even open. It's been working normally for many months but decided to quit on me. =( The only thing I can imagine that would have an effect was when I put my computer to sleep while it was still connected to a television. After that, I can't open Firefox. Suggestions?

One quick question though? When you try to open Firefox, do you get a Firefox window listed on the task bar? What about listed as a running application or process in the task manager? If so, your TV theory could have some validity. Your computer could think that it still has two monitors and is opening the Firefox window on the non-existent second monitor. Have you tried re-connecting it to the TV and then opening Firefox? (Heh, okay so that was more than one quick question...) Assuming I'm on the right track here, the last thing you should do is make sure your computer is set to single monitor display which can be done from the Settings tab in system properties or from the control panel for your graphics card. If you've either tried all of this already or you know that this isn't the case, I don't know what else to tell you at the moment. | |

Rep Power: 7 | Re: Firefox not working on Vista I tried Firefox 3 Beta 5 and it works. However, I have other problems like my computer "forgets" things. Like, every time I open uTorrent, Windows Firewall asks me if I want to unblock it. I've also lost some save files for a game I have.
