Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just recently imported Super Smash Brothers Brawl (US-version) and bought the Wii Freeloader with it. Unfortunately I encountered problems while trying to load my game: The Wii could read it and this little intro thingy when you click on the Disc Channel also showed up, but when I pressed "Start", my screen just kinda crashed/went black. It didn't load anything. Then I tried to change the video mode of my Wii from 50 hz to 60 hz. It worked and loaded the game, but in black and white only... I have read that it could be just due to my TV, but I kinda doubt that. It seems to work with several other PAL gamers around the world just like that without them encountering any problems. Well, any suggestions how to get it to work properly? Oh, btw, if it's of any importance, I've got the 3.2E firmware, I think. |

Did you make sure you imported the PAL version of FreeLoader, and did you make sure that you selected that you were playing an NTSC game/wanted to play it on a PAL system? I know if you mess up that kind of stuff with SwapMagic it will display it in black and white, considering the TV signals are different. And good that you changed it to 60hz, considering that is the hz PAL works best at. |

I definitely imported a Wii freeloader suited for Euro consoles, and it is supposed to be able to play games from any region. Still kinda weird that the normal Wii-Menu works fine with 60 hz but the game doesn't... =/ | |
