Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII

I think the deaths of your main villians in CC sort of come to quick. Also its really weird because the way Genesis talked and acted it pretty much led to the way Sethorith to act the way he did. And yet there was no mention of it ever. So CC, for me, sort of makes me look back at FFVII and think the story is missing alot. But then again that could be just me.

I agree, Crisis Core had a lot of depth in its story and provided a good reason and backstory to Sephiroth becoming a hero to villain.

Some of the events of Crisis Core should be added or mentioned once a FFVII remake is released

I finished the game, and uh...well, I cried--ish or whatever. It wasnt the actual death of Zack that got me, its before that. I remember from FF7 how Zack died, because of the Shinra force, and after I defeated Genesis, I was hoping for more before he dies. Then it changed to the scene on the outskirts of Midgar. Fighting the army, I was hoping to change the ending but with all the new scenes appearing from the DMW, I knew this is the end. I was so sad. I love the music there.

This game has probably turned me into a Sephiroth fan. And I hope Genesis returns soon in the next FFVII which I hope is for PSP as well, since current gen consoles take way too long to develop for. I hate Hojo, thats the one FF7 character that I hate.

The rest is just my opinion on the game, pass if you're not interested.

Firstly, they finally got Aerith's voice right!! Andrea Bowen easily beats Mena Suvari and Mandy Moore. She's the perfect Aerith voice.

Overall, I'd say that Final Fantasy VII : Crisis Core is the best RPG I've ever played. The story and characters were the best aspect of the game. The music was amazing, that simple guitar style, and the redone version of FFVII songs were super, especially the Nibelheim one which brought back good old memories. Graphics were stunning. The high quality CG scenes were perfect -- not too little, not too many. The battle system rocked. Action-based yet requires quick thinking, and the return of the materia system was neat. There are plenty of missions, most of what I still havent finished. I only got about 35% of missions done, and will finish it in the New Game+ since I went and got the Brady Games guide now. The only thing I didnt like was the levelling.

Does anyone think there will be another sequel? Since Genesis has been "revived" at the end of DoC.

and I was really wondering about the new clothes and characters too, they just changed Cloudys 1st Class Uniform from purple to black.. and it's really wierd there where suddenly so many turks like in Before Crisis that are never encountered in the original game even though they didnt die.

Yes, but I'm not betting on Genesis being the boss again. I heard that Nojima wants to do another FFVII, with Cloud. I wonder if they make it deep. Like lets read up about Sephiroth's past, and see flashbacks of him as a little kid. And since Genesis is the last full Jenova experiment (if he's a bad guy) we should see something more powerful than Sephiroth.

Isnt the 1st class uniform the same one Cloud wears in AC, like a very dark purple? Same as Zack's.

Nomura changed the colors for SOLDIER uniforms because he said he couldn't see Zack throughout half of the game in a red 2nd uniform.

Bright blue is SOLDIER Third Class.
Dark purple is SOLDIER Second Class.
Very very dark blue is SOLDIER First Class.

so i just finished my exams and played this game 3 days ago and beat it on hard in that period
i never thought that i would be so moved in the ending although i knew that it was gong to happen

I got the game the night it came out lol and I'm probably still the only one who hasnt beat the game yet. lol, but Im really busy, so I dont get much time to play. Anyway.... Im stuck on one part I need help with. Im about to find Genesis, but in order to go any further I need to get all 7 Goddess materia. I have 6, and I have been in every section of this dang map... what do I do to get the 7th?

Well, apparently Genesis is seen in the Dirge of Cerberus secret ending.
