I HATE THAT PART. . .

Seriously, the first time I did that, it took me like three days, the second time, it wasn't that bad, and the third it took maybe a half hour. . .

I actually nvr played through the whole game. I got REALLY close to the end and my Memory Card decided to be queer and delete my file. And then when I started it up again (coinsidentaly after the before mentioned turtle part) and it refused to play after that T_T

Twilight, why do you have Brawl in your PS3 games played?

The second disk was a HUGE jump in difficulty. . .I barely got anywhere in it before I just couldn't play it anymore. . .

Yes, I did realize that. Not only did I have to see Roger out of all people come to my rescue in the beginning of the disc, but that change of difficulty level made it hard for me to keep going. Still, great game

Well I like having all the games I play/played on it, reguardless of system. I don't own a Wii but I beat the game at a friend's house and I really enjoyed it so I decided to add it on there. Besides, I didn't count it in the "Total PS3 Games Played", I don't even add PS2 games for, well, obvious reasons.

You added FFXII, which is a ps2 game. . .

Anyway. . .

I had Albel save me, but I don't think he joined my party again, for whatever reason. . .

But I wanted him to. . .

No I meant like on the thing where it says "Total PS3 Games Played - 13", so the number doesn't increase when I just played PS2 or other system games.

Yeah I know, when I didn't get abel I fought him like crazy, hoping something would happen. I only got stuck with Roger because I wanted to see everyone's cutscene and Roger happened to be the last one I did, and of course I needed Nel for her healing abilities

The MP-kill system is interesting. <3 I would easily MP-kill MUCH of my opponents in the main game. Of course, A FEW (if not too many) enemies have more MP than HP....so I just use whomever <3

yeah it is, what I didn't like is that the first disc was long and set in a backwater world and then the second disc was like all futuristic and that. I would've liked the chance to visit each world in the galaxy XD like your choice where to go.

The skip wasn't that hard for me though, although what I found weird was the optional character you could get out of Albel and that, I always wanted Albel but never got him...I got the old guy instead xD

Is there any way to get both Albel and Peppita in your party? I had to choose only one>:

Let Albel be the 7th member (before you end disc 1, stay at the inn in Peterny to trigger a PA. To get Albel as the 7th perm, choose "Not really" when he asks that you hate him.) To be the 8th member, you must reject Peppita (sadly ;_; ) and talk to Woltar in the mansion in Airyglyph, then head to those lava caves, the area where Crosell was to fight Albel.

Peppita can only be an 8th party member, and to do so, you must accept her when she offers to join upon leaving Moonbase. It's a now-or-never deal.

It helps to have 2 separate saves. I did. One of my saves had Roger and Peppita as 7th and 8th respectively, and the other with Albel and Nel as 7th and 8th respectively.

Getting Roger as 7th is the same procedure as getting 8th.
- Want him for 7th, visit him @ his house in Surferio before the end of disk 1.
- For 8th, do NOT bring along Peppita (obviously) and visit him in the same place. If you have gotten Nel or Albel as 8th, the scene will not occur.

For Nel:
- As 7th: Do not view either the Albel event or the Roger event and Nel will show up as your 7th member when faced with the Vendeeni at the start of disk 2.
- As 8th: Visit her in Aquaria Castle, and say "We don't have time" when she gives you two options. DO NOT pick "We have plenty of time" because she declines your request and you cannot reattempt to recruit her.

Sophia: Rejoins your party permanently upon reaching Moonbase (mandatory)
Mirage: Rejoins after clearing Sphere 211 in the main game (Mandatory)
Adray: Can recruit him temporarily in disk 1 when heading to Bequerel Mines (I think. sjgfiuafg; What a nice time to lose my strategy guide >_<) Will join permanently after clearing Sphere 211 and heading back to Elicoor II. Go to Surferio and take the bridge that led to teh caves that led to the desert (you know what I mean). You can even trigger that scene before revisiting the Sacred Temple (or whatever).

I loved this game... I really liked the battle system (Fayt-Cliff-Sophia is my party) and I found the story being the best from Star Ocean series...
The Plot Twist to have been created bu the 4th Dimension was kinda... Unexpected, even though it makes wonder things, such as why they never sent the Executioners (SO2 spoilers) on Nede, considering their technology was far superior to the Federation and that Nede supposedly controlled the whole universe at one time. Beside the 10 Wise Men are born from higher experiment than Fayth Sophia and Maria.

My favorite part in this game was Sphere 211. This dungeon looked endless XD
