Don't you mean Ethereal Blast? That attack was nifty too (I think you saw it in one of the disc 1 FMVs) Too bad it cannot be Cancel Bonus'ed and takes AGES to max out =(

Dimension Door CAN be CB'd I believe, but is a pain to do so >_< I think it goes like:
Normal X Attack -> Dimension Door
or
Normal X Attack -> Normal O Attack -> Dimension Door

I need strategies on how to effectively CB skills and (in Sophia and Adray's cases) spells.

I know for a 100% fact that Sophia's "Ultimate Tech" (which works like a spell), Meteor Swarm, CANNOT be CB'd in any way and cannot be accesed (sp) by the Symbology menu either. =\

Maria's Energy Burst = WIN. Is best to set to Long O button; hold down O to get more hits on the enemies. I discovered that meself =O

I just happened to look around and came upon this thread. Star ocean is a great game one of my top favorite Square games the only thing that I think that was wrong with it was the endless cutscenes they had. Those seemed to last forever. As for favorite special attack thats hard to pick there were alot of badass moves you could pull off.

The story was great, and also they did weren't just characters in a game anymore because Maria's powers altered their universe into a real physical universe. They became real people and everything. This game is great and one of the best i've ever played. I'm on disk 2 now and trying to beat the first boss in the company in 4D.

god i must've played through the game 5 times. every time there was just one area that kinda irritated me. that being the giant turtle things that you had to ride to the other side of the tunnel. very irritating.

oh dear god, that drove me insane

I actually nvr played through the whole game. I got REALLY close to the end and my Memory Card decided to be queer and delete my file. And then when I started it up again (coinsidentaly after the before mentioned turtle part) and it refused to play after that T_T

Join the club I've been on that part for like at least 2 years..seriously. As I complained so much on here, I never was able to beat those two guys. I tried to xp but its hard to get back in the game cause I always forget how to play.
